After my shower, I change into a pair of loose fitting lounge pants. You know the really ugly ones that are comfortable as all hell. Pun intended. As I'm pouring my drink which is 4 fingers of whiskey a feel a light flapping at my back. I don't even turn around when I say,
" I haven't summoneds you yet. Why are you here Psyche?" People have forgotten that Psyche was mortal and because of that change her familiar is a butterfly.
"Your Majesty, I'm sorry but a soul is endures." Psyche's voice is clear and gentle just like her until you piss her off then she becomes even more ruthless than any god I know.
"Is that so? And why are you here with me Psyche.? Of all the places to stop by why did you choose mine?" I question. Even though I know this is all about Shawn I want clarity on this. I hadn't summoned her yet she's here.
"Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to? Let's just cut the bullshit shall we and get to the point of this." Psyche is pissed and it shows in her voice. As I turn around and look at her it also shows on her face. Wow I haven't seen her like this for an eno.
I smirk at her, which makes her even more pissed.
"Enough asshole, I'm her to tell you to back the fuck off of her. After today I'm breaking your bond with her soul. You have only yourself to blame for this Hades." Psyche said that all in one go, I'm impressed. She even had the balls to use my name, she truly is something else. Tall, blonde with light green eyes and breath taking all in one package but she has over stepped her place and will be put back into it shortly. Nobody will stand in my way of what is mine and that includes her.
"Oh I like the confidence and the strength your showing Psyche but you do realize to whom your talking to don't you?" I say in a very casual manner. Which if she was smart she would realize I've killed for less.
Psyche opens her mouth to talk and I put up my finger to stop her.
"I'm not done yet. Now let's go back a few steps and discuss what you are going to do and what you won't do. Shall we?" I wait a minute and then continue.
"Is she my wife?" I ask because this is what I really need to know.
"Yes." She says all breathy. Psyche is not trying to seduce me it's because I've let some of my power show and it's hard for her to be in my presence.
"Why then with all the drama with Shawn?" I ask and I mean everything the "sight" and "foreshadowing" and the Shaw. Just fucking why?
"She was a demigod and that has come back with her from the collective soul. I don't get to choose who is reborn I just place them into the bodies that best suits them. I was surprised Persephone wanted to be reborn at all. I didn't know Eita and you would find her. I missed calculated." She finishes and my stomach drops at the meaning behind it.
"What the fuck do you mean by that!?" I yell at her.
"Your Majesty, I mean no disrespect but as Persephone was coming back after her death she asked me that if she ever comes back to place her far away from you and Eita since you both caused her death. She wanted nothing to do with either of you. But it seems like Eita has gotten through with her and since she was a soulmate to both of you it's seems Shawn has made her choice. It would be kinder to her and you to terminate your connection to her and let her move on with Eita." She says while her eyes employ me to agree with her. Oh what bullshit is this, she's come from Eita's and has sided with him. That's just playing dirty. Only 4 people knew that Persephone was a soulmate to two gods and 3 of us are now on earth.
"Have you been talking to Eita lately?" I ask her.
She swallows hard a looks away.
"I see." Is all I say.
"Are you in agreement with this then?" She asks. What a stupid bitch.
I laugh, I just can't help it. This is fucking funny.
"Are you that stupid or just that naive?" I wait for her answer when she doesn't I continue.
"What the fuck do y pi u think? Hmmm that's a fucking no. So it looks like we have to share her again. Well that's fine then. But make my words don't get involved in this or I will fucking kill you and make sure it lasts." I finish. Psyche gulps and bows her head while saying,
"As you wish Your Majesty." And with that she's gone.
This just gets better and fucking better. Now I have to convince my cousin to work with me to get us our girl back because Shawn won't be whole if she has to choose between us again.
