It is now the year 2330. Three centuries since the cataclysm event that came out of nowhere and set off a chain reaction in the world. Seismic events in the scale of category 5 earthquakes happened all around the world. This not only shook the earth itself but caused the seas to go berserk as it effectively destroyed coastal cities, drowned islands, and even covered most of India in water.

The world was in utter chaos. Power was out almost everywhere and those places that had power did not have very much of it. People everywhere were afraid and started causing riots in cities. Law enforcers could not do much against these people. Chaos like this lasted for four years as governments tried to take hold again. In the year 2024, an anonymous scientist released a study that turned the attention of everyone on its heels. The study stated the chaotic event that was now known as the Cataclysm, caused the world change for the better. The world, metaphorically speaking, was becoming healthy.

It stated how the Cataclysm caused new resources that we weren't able to touch before to rise up from deep within the earth. Fault lines had moved to entirely new places and the ocean's currents in itself were changing. Essentially after stating this study, the whole world started to look on the better side of things. The anonymous scientist then went on to state this. "We have been given a chance to start anew. Instead of arguing, we should all be focusing on how we can do the world good this time. Instead of continuing the way we were before, we should use this chance to develop a better world for us."

After that worldwide statement that was published, the governments everywhere used this as a way to calm the citizens and take back control. Not only stating that they would help keep this world from harm again, governments stated that they would use this to advance and usher a new world to everyone. Since the time of that promise, the world started to change rapidly. Science had been making breakthroughs with the materials that now surfaced. Some old resources that were known to the world but were starting to become rare, came about once again. Not only that but the new resources that came from within the earth were indeed new elements that were not known to the world.

Visium, for example, was an entirely new metal that was able to be a perfect conductor for electricity. With material like this, it allowed for advancements in technology due to it being far more efficient to conduct power then its same competitors, such as Beryllium Copper. New materials like that surfaced and from that, the world did away with using oil and gas for vehicles, which served as a hit to the economy, but no one cared as the economy was not booming anyways at this point and time.

Recycling efforts had now been put forth as priority one by all the governments as the citizens everywhere had started to believe that this was all caused because of them not taking good care of the planer. Using the fear the citizens had for the world going through the same thing, the people in power were more than happy to use this as an advantage to gain a foothold in this new world. The United States of America effectively added Central, and South America into its territory. This happened officially June 25th, 2156 which the president at the time came out and stated that this was the birth of a new country called United America. As one would expect, this move almost caused another war but technology had gotten so advanced to the point it would end the world if there was a war, so United America just signed a treaty once again to the United Nations for a non-aggression pact.

Not being the only one subject to such a change, Africa, after the Cataclysm became North, East and South Africa since the Cataclysm caused the continent to split into three. That was then. The world has now advanced so much since then. Hover cars are almost a middle-class luxury to get around in the world. This was made possible by the magnetic field enhancers in cities and on some of the major roads all across the country. The air traffic laws were put into place to police these new forms of travel. The internet was now very much an interactive world to all as all one would need is the proper glasses to do so. Some even went as far as to get contacts or even the implant to allow at-home pc to access the brain.

Healthcare has changed for those who lost limbs. Cybernetics has advanced so much that someone with a cybernetic arm can tell if something is hot or cold by touching it. While it can amplify someone to be able to punch hard it was never advanced so one could enhance physical activity than to just be there as a proper replacement for the lost limb. The year 2330 is where the change is still going and progressing with no issue. Or is there?
