The demon looked at the blood that leaked from his arm and healed it immediately.
"A human? Defeating me. That is absurd."
"What is your name?" Hago question.
"And for what reason do you seek my name." It questioned.
"You don't have to answer if you don't want; you'll be history anyways," Hago snickered.
Before Hago was about to move, he felt something. He looked around and then grabbed his sword.
"We just suffered a great loss." He whispered.
"What do you mean," Darling asked.
"It doesn't matter; let's handle this and catch up with the rest."
"We'll never catch up to them like this," Kazuha questioned.
"Yeah, it's best we split up," Zenkai replied.
Milo walked past them and continued to go forward.
"Hey, where are you going?" Kazuha yelled out.
"You said split up, didn't you, and I don't need anyone tagging long. You will all drag me down, so I'll be leaving first." Milo replied as he walked away.
"He's considered the second strongest ranker. If we left Hago behind, we could leave him too."
Zenkai and Vannox followed each other, and Kazuha went with Aiden and Alex, the fourth and fifth Rankers.
Milo continued his walk with his hands in his pockets and looked around. He entered a village of demons and stopped.
A demon approached him with a staff in his hand.
"A human? Are you an escaped sinner?" He questioned Milo.
Milo grabbed the demon by the shoulder and forced it onto its knees.
"Ask your question again, but this time from your appropriate place."
More demons ran toward Milo to help the monster he was hurting.
Milo turned around, and his eyes glistered.
The demons rushing toward him stopped in their place and backed up, scared of the aura Milo gave off.
Milo let go of the demon and walked away. The demons rushed toward their friend's aid, gripping his shoulder in pain.
"Ring the alarms." He yelled. "A sinner is on the loose."
Hundreds of demons rushed out of nowhere and surrounded Milo. He looked at them, then smiled.
"I'm a sinner? Alright then, come judge me."
Milo lifted his finger and pointed it to the sky. An instant, a shockwave was created that forced every demon back; they got back up and rushed Milo, who started to levitate.
"You failed to judge, and since you're not serving me, there's no purpose of you to stay alive so vanish."
All the demons were dead.
Hago rushed to the demon's side and tried to slice its head off, but he stopped.
Darling jumped in the air and was getting ready for a clean strike downwards. Lyssa wrapped up the demon, and Jx created an ice prison that locked it up.
Hago teleported behind him and picked up Tizona, the sword he threw at the Phantom Demon earlier, and prepared to match up with the team strike they created.
The demon moved his hands forward to escape the chains that confined him.
"Stop the attack." The demon screamed in Lyssa's voice.
Darling stopped and landed on the floor.
The demon broke out of the hold and pushed Jx back.
"Why didn't you finish the attack," Lyssa yelled.
"Because you told me to stop?" Darling questioned.
"What? No, I didn't." Lyssa said, confused.
"Its just his ability." Hago spoke, "voice mimicry, something like this will throw our team off balance."
They stared at the demon in front of them now.
"My name is Sekhmet."
"Sekhmet, I see now was that so hard." Hago tossed his Tizona in the air and disappeared.
The demon looked around, and Hago appeared in the air, flipping over. He kicked the sword with his feet at Sekhmet as an attack. Sekhmet dodged the sword, but Hago teleported behind him and grabbed the sword he threw while putting the other blade, Colada, in the air; he struck Sekhmet as it started bleeding. Hago teleported to his other dagger and used his leg again to kick the sword through Sekhmet's body.
Hago landed back down and grabbed Sekhmet by the head, and slammed his knee in his face.
Darling ran toward the demon that Hago was holding down and put up his hand.
"You're done," Darling said as he got ready to strike.
The phantom demons stopped again.
"I think we're getting close," Senzu said.
"Maybe, but shouldn't we handle the fake demon before we go," Moses said.
"Yes, we should kill Vannox before returning," Carson said. "Y'all can leave that fight with me."
Dachi thought for a second "before I entered the gate, I saw someone who stood next to Vannox. He had no core meaning. He's a God. If he's with Vannox, you should be careful. We don't know how strong he is."
They split up and continued to cover as much ground as possible.
