The ship progressed as Relda navigated under Silas and Acelynn's guidance. Light-years lay behind them, but more stretched ahead. The yawning gap between them and the training station closed, and the station hovered a few yards in front of them.
"That's the training station?" Acelynn asked softly.
Relda made a bold nod toward the station.
"It used to be a trading port," she said. "They changed it to train my daughters to save Quadrant 3."
Relda prepared to make an announcement.
"We're getting ready to dock," she said.
Noah emerged from a corridor that branched off the control center. Kylen and Sariah followed not far behind.
"What do we do about Bria?" She asked. "There's no doctor here. Raylay gave her some meds to make the pain bearable."
Relda slumped.
"Eyan has medical training," she said.
"Not that kind," Noah persisted.
"I hope he can help," she said. "I don't know if I trust medical doctors in Quadrant 3."
Relda flew the ship to the largest dock available. One that could accommodate a whole home ship. The dock darkened around them, and the tracks stopped them.
The oldest girls came in with their children. Kylen clung to Annika and Sariah to Anniston.
"Go on ahead to Anmer," Relda instructed. "Take the transports. Destroy the Temple of Qor. Tell the twins to stay with Bria. I'll take the younger ones and the children with me. We need to send a mass transmission to Quadrant 3."
They hugged their children one last time.
"You heard what your grandmother said," Anniston whispered.
Relda, Raylay, Ty, Asia, Noah, Shilah, Hunley, Brade, Saige, Rhea, Skyla, Anya, Sariah, Kylen, Silas, and Acelynn formed a line behind Relda as they strode into the station. Eyan and Aks watched a viewing screen until the crew had made their entrance.
"We're free," Relda said. "Quadrant 3. And really, everyone else."
"We need a way to communicate that," Raylay said.
Aks raised his hand.
"I can do that," he said. "Right this way."
He had already started for the office wing when Raylay cleared his throat.
"Hold up a minute," he ordered, jerking his thumb in the direction of the home ship. "Relda's daughter is injured."
Eyan marched, pumping his arms.
"Which one?" He asked. "Where is she?"
"Hall 3," Raylay said, holding up three fingers. "It's Bria. Ozla and Klea are with her."
Eyan excused himself, and Aks gestured in a way that meant, "After you."
