Relda had barely closed out the server when a notification from Transmission Server 1 alerted her of an incoming message.
"Who is it?" Anya asked.
Relda accepted the message and played the recording.
"We've found a piece of property for you to park the home ship," Daly reported. "There's enough rooms and suites to accommodate the space force and prisoners."
"It's a powering station," Anthem said. "It's alive and well. It was for the Anmerian space force, but there have been several centuries without war. Why they haven't disconnected the station is beyond me."
Relda chuckled and paused the video clip.
"Well," she said. "Thank the Triune they didn't."
"It makes sense why they wouldn't," Hunley said, engrossed in thought. "They're not using it. They wanted to serve Anmer. So they left it for Anmer to use."
Relda pressed the play selection again.
"The powering station is at 63° 46' 37" latitude and 100° 34" 46" longitude," Anthem said.
And the transmission ended.
"I'll put the coordinates in," Silas offered.
On ahead, the four moons circled the blue and green surface of Anmer.
"We're almost home," Relda announced, and she turned the energy shield to full strength.
Silas punched in the coordinates, and they penetrated the atmosphere. The sudden increase in pressure sent the crew stumbling backward.
Then there was stillness, and as they neared the surface, they saw the quintuplets. They waved, jumped, and cheered from a distant hilltop. Below the hill, the powering station awaited.
"Welcome to Anmer, children," Ozla said.
