"Get the coward to look this way," Asia announced.
"Which coward specifically?" Klea retorted.
Asia stared down the front sight of her blaster. The squarish digital target locked in on the four-armed creature that held Ozla captive. The shot brushed centimeters above Ozla's head, attacking the creature's neck.
"Are we clear?" Klea asked, checking the perimeter.
Ozla offered a backup glance, and observed the vacant plates and the vacant disks. The wall was too distant to worry about. She gave a curt nod toward her twin.
"We're good," she said.
She pointed her thumb to the holding suite. They were a few inches from it now.
"You go in ahead," she said.
Noah stopped near the door and cocked her head.
"They all know the passcode," she said. "You sure they haven't let themselves out?"
"Obviously not," Klea said with a shrug.
"It's psychological imprisonment," Ozla gave a brief, stately response. "They're scared of torture. They also know we're coming. Now go! GO!"
As the last of her sisters filed into the suite, Ozla was alone with the viewing screen. Behind her, Ty checked Bria's injuries.
"Owww," Bria emitted a weak moan.
"You're going to tough it out," Ty scolded. "You're meant to fight for Quadrant 3."
"She's a child, Ty."
Ty and Bria looked up as Raylay, Relda, and the five oldest clones left the booby traps.
"She's thirteen," Relda said. "I'll take care of this."
The program containing the digi-map enlarged on the viewing screen. Markings indicated the various chambers, the traps, and the prison suite. A red light flashed in the prison suite designation. Ozla switched the view to 3D, and the red light showed up under the prison suite floor. She held her finger against it, and it swirled under her fingertips. A message appeared in the red light. Danger zone! Do not dock. Red lights flashed under the traps too.
"Mama," Ozla said. "Look at this."
When she and Relda stood side by side, Ozla jabbed her finger on the danger zone warning.
"I think we found weak points," she reported. "I think the blasters in our transports should take care of this."
"Good work, daughter," Relda said.
