Relda kept the shield on, because a few miles outside the asteroid field lay Jucardi. She adjusted the rearview cam. Orbs still circled in the asteroid field.
"I'm turning on light speed," Relda said, getting a brief look at her touch screen device. She pulled down a toolbar to the speed options.
She stroked the control.
"Hang in there," she coaxed the girls. "We're going in."
The ship trembled as it absorbed the full force pulling them into the Jucardian atmosphere. The forest appeared, and the rock formation, and the battle station. Somewhere away from the forest, an oblong object lay in a carpet of grass.
"Uncle Raylay's transport!" Noah exclaimed.
"We should land the rental outside the battle station." Ozla suggested. "Then the Dialorians will come after it. When they come, the people in the battle station will…"
"...far enough that it won't get it shot. But close enough that the Dialorians will." Klea added.
"We'll land in the forest," Relda decided. "We'll trust the people in the battle station can aim."
Relda stole periodic glances into the sky. She tapped the code into the side panel, and it granted them access.
"Hurry," she whispered to the girls. "If we make good time, we can all have the chance to change our clothes."
With that said, she pulled down her compartment and extracted her bag.
"Go in order of age," she instructed. "And we can use the boys' bathing unit. We'll have about five minutes until there could be trouble."
