The next morning, Hana was heading to Marline's building, and was still a few blocks away from her workplace, when Utagawa Takao came to meet her.
"Shinohara-san!" He called to her cheerfully. "I was waiting for you!"
He was waiting for her? So early in the morning?
She greeted him in return, and the man, positioned in front of her, began to fidget nervously and couldn't stand in place.
"Say... Would you have a moment for me to talk to you, today?" He asked with embarrassment.
"Like now?" She asked in return.
"Let's say, with more time, and in a quieter place," said Takao, "I would need to discuss an important matter with you."
"An important matter?" Hana worried.
"N-Nothing serious, I assure you!" The man quickly rectified.
