During this time and from her workstation, Chiho had observed the entire scene taking place in the break room.
She had seen the new Director chatting comfortably with Hana, and smiling at the young woman in a natural way. They were both comfortable with each other.
Because of that, Chiho had no doubt that something was going on between Hana and this management guy, and she felt that the solution to her problems might not be as far away from her as she might have thought.
If Hana had gotten close to this guy, then it was also possible to get her away from him abruptly; and Chiho was an expert in this area. She had always known how to analyze people's behavior to understand what they were thinking, and how to manipulate them to get what she wanted. She had always done it, and it was like second nature to her.
