It was still the 10 o'clock break for some employees when Utagawa Takao stepped into the Natural Disaster Department. Some people were still at their posts, working or chatting with their office neighbors, while others had moved more or less away from their seats to chat with employees from the same department or from different floors who had come here. Groups had formed both inside and outside the glass-walled break room; access to the coffee machines and candy machines had become very difficult.
With some anxiety, Takao observed the whole floor to try to find Shinohara Hana.
