Sitting across from the Legal Department employee, and with the glass-walled meeting room door behind him, Chief Kobayashi had almost started shouting.
"This is completely ridiculous!" Shinsuke exclaimed, offended. "Don't tell me you believe that crap!"
He had crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, ready to leave at the slightest inconvenience, though Serizawa remained calm regarding his angry temper.
"Please understand that it is our duty to take into account any new element, even if it turns out to be false," said the Legal Department employee.
"So you believe a liar like Kubo Touma?!" Shinsuke indignantly said.
"I didn't say that. I said that even if there's little to no doubt-"
"So you doubt me, is that it?" Shinsuke cut him off. " How long has it been? Three years I've been working here, and you do this to me?"
"Your time here has nothing to do with it," Serizawa argued.
