Seeing Director Utagawa off in the distance, heading back to the elevator after chatting with the employees who occupied the desks close to Shinohara Hana's, Shinsuke finished writing his e-mail. He had opted to simply tell the truth, without trying to embellish it or paint it in a bad light. It was still the best thing to do, to remain honest about a situation he had initially misunderstood.
He typed a last sentence, then, rereading his message one last time, decided to send it. Serizawa would use it as he wanted, and knowing the rigid and strict nature of the man, Shinsuke knew that it would surely play in favor of Shinohara Hana.
Upset, he locked his computer and got up from his chair.
