Chapter 38 - Back then, I'd rather ignore him.

Hana remained motionless in the chair she had sat in, on the other side of a large long table usually reserved for executive staff meetings. The other nine chairs on her side were unoccupied, as were the ten chairs in front of her. 

She could see through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls employees passing by, alone or in groups, empty-handed or with their arms loaded with documents, without anyone paying her any attention. 

It had been ten minutes since she had been brought into this room, and she still didn't know why she had been summoned. 

From time to time, someone would stop in front of the door - also glass - of the meeting room, without entering. 

It seemed to the young woman that she was alone in the world, forgotten by all. Perhaps she was as transparent as these windows, and no one could see her. It was a rather usual sensation for her, and one she had not really detached herself from since the time.
