"Speak" Arielle spoke with a frown she was visibly upset.
"Arielle we owe you an apology, yes we're witches, and am gifted with the foresight ... my visions tell the future and we ... rather I saw your transition to your guardian form months back that's why we approached you. Remember we are transfer students, but you must know this we just manipulated the principal to let us in, she is still under the spell.. we aren't really in clove town to study... we came here for you" Maria Clara began explaining she was trying to read Arielle's expression but the girl's face was stone cold and not giving away her feelings.
"So why did you girls choose to get close to me, as far as am concerned witches and werewolves aren't best of friends," Arielle asked she was feeling a little betrayed and stalked because these girls were always clingy and following her everywhere she went. Many students considered them her minions because of that.
Maria Clara felt a little scared because she had never seen Arielle this serious before but she hoped that after hearing their side of the story her expression might soften, otherwise, this would be the end of the road for them. "let me start from the very beginning, our mother Marcella is the guardian of witches, wizards and spell casters in general and for many centuries she hid her identity as a guardian cause she didn't trust anyone... but then she had us and to her trusting one's blood is key so at a young age she made us swear the death oat to her and we did without thinking twice... "Maria Clara paused the memory wasn't the sweetest of her memories, Maria Emilia squeezed her hands and gave her an assuring look. Maria Clara was the one who carried the burden of responsibilities most of the time because their mother considered her the first.
"I don't have all day," Arielle said, she was in no mood to get sentimental.
The trio could see she was very upset with them so they urged Maria Clara to hasten up the story. "our mother trained us and taught us all the lethal spells we know and although she was very strict, we loved her but things changed several months ago... according to her a new prophecy came and the prophecy stated that she was going to be replaced as the guardian of witches by one of her children.. apparently our mother couldn't afford to lose her power and position so she consulted with the dark wizards who told her that the only way to save herself is to kill the child that would replace her as a guardian! but the problem is the prophecy didn't state the name of the presumed chosen one and now our mother is desperately searching for us to murder us all... I saw a vision of her killing Elena days before she went to meet the dark wizards so we fled but she's searching for us and we exposed ourselves by attending school but we did it for you. " Maria Clara narrated she was close to tears as she spoke.
" Nothing is more painful than your birth mother haunting you down to murder you, we don't want to die.! "she added the sadness in her tone was overwhelming.
Arielle sighed the tale was indeed touching but the question lingering in her head was what connection she had with them. She wouldn't mind helping if possible they were her friends even though they didn't come clean with their intentions in the beginning. "Hmmmmm I don't know what to
say ... it's just disgusting to hear a mother hunting her kids to murder them... it's just sick but still, how do I come in. "Arielle asked.
" You can save us" Maria Emilia chipped in.
" How," Arielle asked swiftly.
"I guess you are not aware of the fact that a guardian can have more than four trusted servant we want to be yours, that will save us from our mother.... you see once we're sired by another guardian we'll be safe cause hurting another guardian 's sired would mean war... and no guardian likes war except cause you want your kind to perish ."
Maria Clara further clarified. Arielle was surprised but she also understood rukky could not have been able to tell her everything in one sitting. Arielle decided to help the trio and become their sire. After all, the greatest parks were the ones with witches' protection and she was going to have three.....
Arielle snuck them into the park after they cast a spell on themselves to mask their scent in other not to attract attention to themselves, werewolves have a heightened sense of smell.
She took them to her cave where they swore the death oath to her thereby nullifying their death oath to their mother.
The triplet wanted to stay but Arielle asked them to leave until after she becomes Alpha so they can reside in the park house with her. The trio agreed but promised to keep in contact.
But Arielle did not know was that their coming into her life was a blessing in disguise..
