Spencer, Lily, Tobecca and I are at the town hall. We are waiting for the food to be served. Majority of the town's folk have come to the banquet. "I hope that there will be some lamb. It's my favourite" says Spencer. " Are you really thinking of food right now" laughs Lily. " I can't help myself. We are in an apocalypse after all. Food and resources are meant to be our number one priority" says Spencer. " I suppose so" says Lily. " What is your guy's favorite foods? I love meat" says Spencer. " I am a fan of dairy products. I love Cheese. I love yogurt and I enjoy milk with my cereal" says Lily. " I like seafood" says Tobecca. " I enjoy pasta especially spaghetti" I say. " Do you think anyone is going to speak to us here" asks Tobecca. " Highly doubt it. If they do, it's most likely to thank us for our contribution" I say. A man starts to approach us. " Hello all. Do you mind if I join you" asks the man. " We don't mind" says Spencer. " Thanks. My name is Phillip. You all are in grave danger." It takes me awhile to register what Phillip said. " What do you mean" asks Lily. " Be calm when I say this. If they figure out that I told you what I am about to tell you then they will come for me. Everyone in this town excluding me are cannibals." " What the hell" starts Spencer but Phillip tells him to keep quiet. " Riley only agreed to give you backup because she wanted A, B, C and D to kill you. They are like the execution squad" says Phillip. " I knew that it was too good to be true. Backup, restocking of supplies, banquet. This place is crazy" I say. " If there is a small chance of you guys surviving, you had better do as I say" says Phillip. We all nod. " I am the speaker for the memorial event so as I make my speech, you had better exit this place. Slowly get close to the exit. One at a time. If anyone tries to speak to you, act calm. Say that you like being at the back. Once you are there, I will start my speech so that some of the pressure is off you guys." " Thanks. We owe you big time" I say. " No problem. We might meet in the future. Just remember what I did for you. Let's start the plan now" says Phillip. Tobecca goes first. I am trying to be calm. I am so scared. I am looking around the room. No one seems to be looking at me right now. I get a tab on the shoulder from Spencer. Tobecca and Lily are already standing near the exit. I start to move slowly towards the exit. I am trying to walk like nothing is wrong. It feels like at any second, one of the town's folk could shout out that we are escaping. After some scary seconds, I make it to Lily and Tobecca. " Well done Andrew. Now it is just Spencer left" says Tobecca. I keep my eyes trained on Spencer. I'm too scared to look at the town's folk at the moment. Spencer makes it to us. Phillip gives us a quick glance and then walks up to the stage. " Please keep up your promise. Don't betray us" I say in my head. Phillip starts to speak but I tune him out. Spencer taps me and I exit the town hall. " Keep calm guys. We have got to make it to the car. They are definitely going to hear the engine start" says Spencer. " We still got a head start over them" says Tobecca. We arrive at the car. " Enter quickly" says Spencer. " We enter quickly. Spencer starts the car and drives away from the town hall. " This town is crazy" says Spencer. " We should still be on alert. They could still send someone after us" I say. " Let's hope that doesn't happen" says Lily. We drive past someone sitting outside. I notice that he is talking to someone on the phone. " Dammit. That guy we just drove passed. He was on the phone with someone. He could be calling Riley to let her know that we are leaving" I say. " Then let's go a bit faster" says Spencer.
