As the sun was still in the sky, it was still a few hours until sunset, but today I don't have to worry about setting up camp or having to sleep on the ground again. I just passed through the city gate, finally I'm home funny that just now I feel like I live in this city I spent months feeling like a stranger here. But it only took me to leave for over a week to realize that I feel this city has become my home.
Entering the city we made our way to the guild building but obviously before we got there we had to leave our mounts in a stable used by adventurers it belongs to the guild and when I say mounts I mean the horses we are going to sell and those from the crew. Vania this because both Blue and Soft refuse to stay in a stable like this, they will stay with Hilda and Ingredi until they return to the Menfis family mansion . The horse I'm using was also kept in the stable, but it went to the aria reserved by the Menfis family, and it stayed with the mounts used by the groups of adventurers from the Menfis family .
After renting the place for the horses, we went to the guild a group of ten adventurers and two weasels, our group did not congest the street as it is big, but our group still drew attention and the cause of this were the two bags we are in. carrying them not only stink but you can clearly see the stain of old blood the two bags are filled with the heads of the thieves we killed. I wish I had a better way to prove the identity of the thieves we killed because their heads have rotted away in the past few days and it's been awkward transporting them.
But when arriving at the guild building Rafaela passed the front entrance and dry the street and ends up turning on the side of the building I was confused by her assam because I didn't know there was another entrance in the guild building. We enter through one of the secondary doors of the guild building.
This reception room is very different, firstly I see several other adventurers here and the place has a dirtier air and floor and a very big difference when compared to the main entrance. We went to a worn wooden counter where Rafaela placed the bag with the rotten heads in front of the receptionist who has a different style, bought from the read receptionists who attends at the front door.
"I have some bad guys here and I have to talk to a supervisor about the mission report and another serious matter ."
"You can wait in room three, a supervisor will meet you there and only three people can enter the room."
Rafaela wipes off the side of the counter to get to room three, but before that she points to me and Torris then follows her to room three. I understand why my presence since I'm still carrying the bandit's brooch but I don't know why she called Torris if it was because he and the Yates family should have caught David who is part of her group.
When entering a simple room, the decoration and light tends to a darker environment and I sit next to Rafaela, who has already thrown herself on the living room sofa. Torris decided to stand up rather than join us on the couch and I didn't invite him because Rafaela basically dominated the couch I'm in his corner and I don't even blame a third of the couch and I already feel like I'm invading her space.

The door opened and a man with glasses and dressed as an administrator enters the room and sits in the chair across the table he doesn't even react to Rafaela's appearance and manner he simply takes out a notebook and pen and starts asking questions.

Taking your foot off the table and get dressed on the couch Rafaela responds to the question of the guild supervisor.

"What a misfortune to the village, I will update the city to put the village as abandoned or sell the land to some noble family to show interest in land infrastructure village still is standing?"

Now Rafaela points to me and I take off the brooch and put it on the table the guild employee recognizes the emblem on the brooch and then looks directly at Rafaela the surrounding air has become much heavier than before.
"This Benjamin tried to hide this brooch from the rest of the team?"
"Yes, and when we realized he resisted him and threatened the rest of the group with his family name. And when that didn't work he revealed that three other members of my group were guards hired by his family to help him in his plan to rape team captain Vania Yates and make her his wife, but how were they in smaller number we can defeat him more as their level was higher than the rookies they didn't take it easy on them and in the end the traitors ended up dead."
"Is this a very serious accusation , on evidence?"
"There isn't a single proof beyond our account, but the group was not only made up of members of the Yates family like Torris and his cousin David, but also two noblewomen from the Menfis family who also witnessed Benjamin's confession of his negative intentions against the Captain Vania."
"You will have to make a formal report to the guild today one of you can pick up the second member of the Yates family and the two nobles of the Menfis family. Let's finish recording your statements on the second floor room eight I will call other guild officials to help."
He takes the brooch from the table and leaves the room. I look at Rafaela who has a bloodthirsty smile on her face she really wanted to play shit on Benjamin's name. I just wonder how Vania and the Yates family are going to get revenge on the Chartreux family.
" Ulric will call the others and meet us on the second floor."
"OK."
It didn't take me long to call Hilda, Ingredi and David to even me to the room on the second floor when entering the room the guild employee who was taking the report is accompanied by two more employees and a man who is not dressed as an employee he he looks more like an adventurer when i see his level i get scared his core is at the peak stage of the red core he is the closest person to the blue core i've seen in my life his aura is extremely condensed and his wind element looks like an emerald it's so compressed what your energy is.
As we sat at the conference table I felt the wind element warrior's piercing gaze and he looked like he wanted to dig a hole in my skull with his piercing gaze. Did he feel my gaze on his core?
The meeting ends with Rafaela repeating the whole story but this time she is using some more polite words her senses must have received that that warrior would not put up with jokes during the story. The others confirmed the report and Benjamin's dark intentions were recorded in the guild's report.
During the entire meeting I felt that even without looking at me directly the old warrior had his attention focused on me he didn't say a word during the meeting. The supervisor we met first said the rewards would be available tomorrow so we can get guild cards from my group were noted to receive your share of the reward which will be decided by the guild today as Vania's group was already registered as a group before so the guild doesn't need to confirm their cards.
As I leave the guild building I realize that the shit that's going to happen because of Benjamin is much bigger than I thought it would be.
