"That's it?" Diana asked with a doubtful look.
"Are you doubting my capabilities, Diana?" Lance narrowed his eyes on Diana.
"Of course not! You are amazing Lance," She winks at him and then gives him a thumbs up. It made Lance feel flattered.
"But what about Mrs. Lock?" Diana expressed her concern. She knows that if the school's directors didn't expel Timothy, Mrs. Lock will be outraged and she fears that Mrs. Lock will divert her anger into Timothy.
"Leave her to me," Lance stated confidently.
"To you?"
"Oh! Come on Diana! Just leave everything to me, okay? Do you think I will let anything happen to Timothy? Just go and take good care of him! Shoo!"
"Okay. Okay."
Then Diana's eyes soften. "Thank you, Lance."
Lance felt awkward.
