A week has passed since the day Mio's father comes to the shop and after that, they do not see Mio's father anymore. Mio already cures her fever but somehow she becomes more depressed and always spacing out.
There was once Mio burn her favourite clothes with iron. She didn't realize she doesn't pull the iron from the clothes and yeah, there is a big hole in the clothes. Next, she spilt the water on the customer's head. Gladly the customer didn't mad at her. Instead, she asked Mio about her health and ask her to take a good rest.
Now, she just stays in her room spacing out and keeps missed her daily activities. She doesn't go to school because Sugawara asked her to stay in the house. It is because he was worried about Mio safety. To think Haruki is always not in the class makes Sugawara worried increase.
"Did you know why Mio become like that Haruki?"
Haruki who had just returned from school just shook his head as replied to Kenta question. He drops his bag at the corner shop and starts to help Kenta and Sugwara closed the shop. He still tries to arranged words in his mind to give the best answer to Kenta question.
"No. I don't know what happen to her but I can be asked her what happen. Do you guys already asked her about her problem?" Now it's time for Haruki to asked them about Mio. Even he tried to give the best answer, he couldn't cause he also don't the causes.
Before they answer, Haruki already disappeared from their sight. They were pretty sure that Haruki tries to talk with Mio and solve her problem. It's quite shocking because Haruki is persistent to help Mio without any forces from anyone.
After he left his uncle in the shop he rushed to go upstairs and stand in front of Mio's room. His mind working non-stop to give the best word and wouldn't hurt Mio hurt. Like last time, he wanna say something else but he said something.
Mio's door Haruki knock repeatedly with the hope Mio will open the door. As Mio can hear Haruki wishes, she opens the door. Haruki can see the girl in front of him was crying, depressed and tired. The eye bag shows that Mio didn't get enough sleep.
Watching Haruki just staring at herself makes Mio feel uncomfortable. She decides to close her door room but is stopped by Haruki.
"What do you want actually?" Mio tries to figure what is in Haruki mind.
"Get ready right now. I don't want to hear an excuse. No matter what happens you have to follow me. I give you 15 minutes to get changes but if you're late I will change your clothes on my own."
Haruki walked away leaves Mio with a hundred questions in her mind. She doesn't want to go but remembered Haruki threat just now enough makes Mio getting a chill. Haruki is an unexpected person, what if he changes Mio clothes on her own?
As promised, 15 minutes have passed and Haruki waiting for Mio in front of her door room.

Mio still did not show up and don't have any sign to she opened the door. Haruki prepares himself to not be mad at Mio and tries to communicate with her properly. When he rise his hand to knock on the door, the door opened and both of them staring for 2 minutes straight.
"I'm sorry. I can't find my money. Where are we going?" Mio asked to stop their staring and awkward atmosphere.
Haruki seems to have been to reality. Instead of answering Mio question, Haruki chooses to keep his mouth shut. He pulled Mio hand and both of them rushed to leave the shop even Kenta and Sugawara can't stop them.
"You can drive?" Asked Mio when Haruki asked him to get into the car. Who's this car belong to? She doesn't know, maybe his friend? Or sigh. She doesn't want to think about it anymore.
License driving he shows in front of Mio eyes to confirm that he can drive this car. Mio just nodded and without any question, she gets into the car and watched Haruki starts the engine. Well, Haruki doesn't look awkward at all.
Well, she can sleep with ease right now.
"Where are we going actually?" Her sleep interrupt when she remembered Haruki never tell her where are they going actually.
Haruki glance a little at Mio. With a smile, he says, "sleep first. When we reached our destination I will wake you up."
The sound of someone talking makes Mio wake up from her sleep. Slowly she opened her eyes to adjust the light. Suddenly, the driver door opened and she can see Haruki bring a plastic bag containing food.
"You're awake? Here, I buy you bread and water. It won't be long before we arrive. You can continue your sleep but eat first. You will get sick." Haruki lends the plastic bag to Mio.
She wants it or not, she still has to accept it or else Haruki will get mad or forced her.
"Where are we going actually? You do not bring me to an awful place right?" The curiosity increased when they still had not reached their destination.
The scenery is not the same as their city. Mio knew there were not in Tokyo anymore. It looks like they are in the countryside but she can't make sure where are they. She reached for the bread and water while waiting for Haruki to answer her question.
The chuckled from Haruki attract Mio attention. He glances at Mio before he continued his chuckled and she becomes more confused. Suddenly, Haruki stroke Mio's hair and Mio hair condition are worse than before.
She grunts to give a sign to Haruki that she doesn't like what Haruki do to her. Before she gets to talk, Haruki stopped the car and through the window, Mio could see they are a graveyard.
"What are we-"
"I want to introduce you to my father. Ah! We're at Kurashiki, Okayama right now." Haruki stopped Mio talk and start to walk into the graveyard while his eyes focus on every place to find his father's grave.
Mio just following Haruki while she is lost in her thought. "No wonder it takes a long time to reach this place. Wait, Okayama? So far! To think Okayama to Tokyo is damn."
"Did you hear what I said just now?"
The question from Haruki manages to stop Mio thought and come back to reality. With an awkward smile, she shook her head. If she nodded, he must be asked to repeat what he said and she could not repeat it the probability to get scold is high. So it's better to tell him the truth.
"I said this is my father grave."
