"Yesterday you said everything about your relationship with Evelyn's brother. How you kissed and all that and also..." Sonya quickly put her hand over her mouth to stop her from saying more.
"Why? Are you feeling shy? Whoa! You are so incredible, you were having a romantic relationship with my brother and we didn't suspect anything" Evelyn also said to tease her. Sonya protest and try to deny it but they were not buying it from her. "So was it after you guys went out together for the first time or when you start to work at the company?. Who liked who first?" loveth ask and they continue to tease her.
"There is nothing like that and it's over now okay" Sonya said getting angry all of a sudden and she left the dinning room and went back to her room. She lay down with her back on the bed. And try hard to remember what she did yesterday and its came flowing back to her.
"She not only talk about Maxwell yesterday but also about handsome man and the weird guy she met five years ago.
"why did she even mention about that" She stood up from the bed and held her hair. It is so embarrassing. And she remembered that Evelyn recorded her. She wanted to go outside and ask her to delete it was but did not want to hear any more of their teasing so she decide against it.
"It's not like she will post the video or something" she thought and felt a sharp pain in her head.
"Am never drinking again" she thought and lay down again. After sometimes loveth entered and bought in some pain reliever with her.
"I presume that you might need some of this" she said and drop a glass of water and the drug and sat beside her on the bed.
"Actually yesterday I was the one who ask you a question before you start to talk about Mr Hart" She explained.
"but am curious about something, yesterday you said something about it being over and you also said the same thing not long ago, what do you mean?" Sonya didn't answer her.
"Can you help me visit Charles at the hospital today. His sister text me that she is busy and won't be able to stay with him today" she replied instead. Loveth understood that she didn't want to talk about it so she just nodded her her head at her and left the room. Sonya took one of the drug and used it then she lie properly on the bed and slept off.
"Evelyn, how many class do you have today?" Loveth ask when she came to her.
"Just two" she answered.
"Great! So can you help me to go to the hospital" she asked. "What for?" Evelyn asked.
"Sonya has still not gotten over her hangover and she wants me to go visit someone on her behalf at the hospital" she explained.
"But the thing is that I have a lot of class today and I couldn't reject her since I was the one who made her drink yesterday. So can you please go on my behalf?" she pleaded.
"But you don't normally have any classes today. When do you start having class on Wednesdays" she said puzzled.
"I don't normally but today seems a bit different I guess" she lied.
"But you know I hate going to the hospital" she complained. "Remember that you did not apologize to her yesterday and she's not feeling too well. You can use this as an apology" she said again to convince her.
"Okay fine, I will go. But I won't stay for long" she finally agree and they both head out to school.After school Evelyn went straight to the hospital Sonya text her and headed to the room. She opened the door and saw Charles. She was so surprised and drop the flower in her hand.
"Evelyn, what are you doing here?" Charles said also surprised. "Are the patient?" She asked. Now she get it. Loveth made her come here on purpose. She fake a smile and changed the expression on her face.
"hey, Sonya is not feeling too well so she asked me to come over instead" she said and pick up the flower on the floor and place it beside his bed.
"Since I can see that you are better, I will leave now to report back to Sonya" she said with a smile and made to leave. "Charles held her back.
"Since you are here why don't you complete the reason why you came. Am sure Sonya sent you to stay here with me until Amy gets back" he said calmly. Evelyn face him.
"She did, but since you look okay, I don't think that's necessary" she said and try to leave.
"Am not okay yet and I need someone to stay here in case of an emergency" he insisted. Evelyn does not know the nature of his illness and so she decide to stay for Sonya sake.
"Alright. "Let go of me then" she said. Charles quickly release her hand and she helped him back to the bed. She sat down beside him on a chair.
"Is there anything you need?" She asked him. Charles did not need anything and even if he did, he come get it himself.
"Am thirsty" he answered.
"will you prefer fruit or water?" She ask.
"Anyone will do" Evelyn start to peel some orange and extracted the juice out for him. Then she came it to him. Charles was very excited but did not show it.
"Whatever Sonya had in mind for sending her over, she has really made him happy. Evelyn stay for about three hours before Amy arrives Amy enters and saw Evelyn. They were both surprised to see each other.
"Isn't this Charles girlfriend? They are still together" She thought. She stood up and bade both of them bye. Charles noticed that her mood changed immediately Amy entered so he stood up to follow her but Amy held him back.
"Why won't you let me follow her?" He asked her.
"What is she doing here? I told you I don't want to see you with her again" she replied instead and Charles ignored her.
Evelyn got home and went to Sonya's room. She was still sleeping but she was burning up. She try to wake her up but she kept sleeping. Then she place a wet towel on her head and check her temperature. Her body temperature was not that high. Then she guess that it because of the alcohol she drank. She called to order a food delivery for her then she remembered what she wanted to do. She quickly pick her phone and sent yesterday video to her brother. She waited for a while but there was no reply from him. She tried calling him and it was unreachable. She decide to send it to Michael and also sent below it that only Maxwell should watch it and he should call her after watching it.
