"Justice!? YOU CALL THIS JUSTICE!?" The Dragonkin spoke in a firm and authoritative manner. The torch light of the hall glinted off his red scales and rose-gold plate mail armor. Three swords crossed his back each one longer than the last. Two guards are attempting to hold him back, but they are struggling.
"They had it coming Ag! They knew the law went into effect." On the other side of the guards a Nobleman spoke. "No matter the crime; Execution. NO exceptions."
"Tyranny is also a criminal offense Lanius!" Ag shouted back. "You asked my Order... You asked ME to stop your father. I beheaded that tyrant so you could rule differently, but it seems you are just another moth to the flame of corrupting power."
"And what is it you're going to do Ag? I hired your order to help ME. I now have the family wealth to my name. I'm certain a little gold could persuade even the Order of Eternal Flame."
Ag began laughing. At first a low chuckle, then heavy and almost sarcastic, then loud and manic.
"GOLD!?"
Lanius stood in horror as he watches his two royal guards burst into flame. Their flesh melting in their armor as they scream in pain. Their stench unbearable. The flames die with their screams as Ag stood between them, longsword drawn. "No amount of gold can withstand my flame, Lanius."
Ag moved in for a downward slash, but before he struck his vision blurred, his body numb like static. Suddenly his sense came back to him. He's standing in a training field clashing swords with in unknown man. His trident thrusted forwards towards Ag. As they catch each other in the eye. "Who are you?"

"Fuck... How many of them are there?" The human man stated resting on his trident. The bodies of many hooded figures lay around his feet. "I mean just how many people does a dragon need to worship them?"
"Quiet Reggie." His companion spoke. A bald man in monk's robes, and a heavenly aura behind his eyes. "Stay vigilant, these caves have many crevasses these cultists can spring out of."
"Percival, you know Lady always has my back. I can't even go to sleep without her waking me to ever insect in my room. I think a cave is right up her alley for 'threat awareness'."
"They may be cultists of a dragon, but some are still capable of holy magic. They merely have to suggest they have a holy symbol and Lady will be out of commission for an hour. In fact if it wasn't for her, I'd have mine out as well."
Reggie was about to give a snarky reply, but he was interrupted by the large cloaked figure that somehow snuck up behind Percival. "Percy! Watch it!" Reggie shout shunting his comrade out of the way thrusting his trident upward. In a flash his vision went black, his body heavy. What was caves was now an open training field. His trident made contact with a sword. A large red Dragonkin stood in his way. Reggie gritted his teeth, and looked to his newfound quarry's eyes.
"Who are you?" They both asked. Ag started first.
"Agshulkaal, you may call me Ag, but I doubt you'll live long enough to use it."
"Reginald Mark, call me Reggie, and I guess the same goes to you, pal."
"Mind explaining watch magic you pulled to save that tyrant's life?"
"Oh yeah? I bet this is just some trick your cult buddies did! Huh?"
"So, you're not with King Lanius?"
"Who the fuck is King Lanius?"
"What's this about a cult? I am a Phoenix Knight of the Order of Eternal Flame."
"Excuse me? Like a Paladin Order? I didn't know you guys worshiped dragons."
"We don't."
"You... wait what?"
The two stood in a brief silence still clashing their weapons through the whole conversation. They felt each other let up slightly, this caused in unspoken ceasefire as both sheath their weapons. "So... WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE?" Reggie yelled out, gesturing to the training field around them. Now getting a better look it was set up in the rear side of a castle.
"Where ever we are..." Ag began. "It seems like it's some noble's estate. No doubt soon we'll be fo-" Ag was interrupted almost on queue as several guards come searching from different areas. "You there! Trespassers! Drop your weapons and come quietly!"
Reggie whispered to Ag. "Hey, if they plan to execute us I'll break us out."
"Fool, I'll be the one doing the breaking. No one contains a Phoenix Knight for long."
"Alright, bet. 10 gold says I break out of here before you."
"You're on."
