Chapter 66 - Forsaken.

Won had just returned to the capital when everything began to shake. Won coughed up ten mouthfuls of blood and felt himself on the verge of collapse.

Heavenly Defiance was shivering and trembling.

The Ito Empire began to tremble horribly and countless buildings and even the palace that majestically stood firm crumbled.

Won's eyes flared and he turned into a beam of light and escaped again with Yuna in his arms. She was pale faced and looked ghastly.

Won spat out even more blood, simply moving incurred countless injuries and innumerable pain. It was as if every action was defiance against the majesty of whatever was causing this unsightly and heinous act.

Mountains far off could be seen crumbling to dust.

The skies above twisted and tore apart revealing a vast plateau of stars.

Yet almost immediately the torn sky began to regrow.

In a subterranean valley somewhere near the south an old man looked up, his brows locked together and a frown appeared.

He put his hands together and a suddenly he collapsed down.

He said weakly, "Luckily I managed to sever my connection with my real body and this avatar. Damnit that bitch!"

Atop mount Kun a young woman with pink hair looked off. She looked enchanting and mesmerizing, beautiful. Her eyes were silver like snow. She seemed almost Ancient and the fog that surrounded her made her mysterious. She had a deep sadness or more apprehension that filled her brow.

A sigh left her lips and she looked down, her eyes seemingly passing along all of creation.

"So the Heavens have forsaken us."

In the point in the middle of the East and West a great tear occured, it was a humongous gnash upon all of creation. It stretched to touch the vast and endless seas which sat between the North and South lands.

In the churches in the west wails spread out as their various members began to fell a wave of weakness pass over them. Their skin became dry and their eyes sunken, it was as if their lifespan was being stripped from them. Their once ruddy youthful faces turned into a face of ancientness.

They cried in anguish.

Some of the older ones turned to mummy's and then to dust, taken away by frosty winds.

All of creation stared as the entirety of the world began to shiver in fright.

Monstrous waves were stirred and the south was nearly Completely destroyed.

Fierce lightning struck the east.

It seemed as if all of nature had gone mad.

Ancient trees began to die.

Mountain Spirits began to tremble and kowtow. Tears splatted out from them. They begged again and again for forgiveness.

...

Won frowned as the shaking continued he spat out his Innate Qi which rose to the sky. Instantly he seemed to become horribly weak as if he could roll over and die.

He pumped his hand up, his index and middle finger pointing up.

From his hand golden light erupted.

"Formation of Gods and Deities!"

Three pillars of golden light rose to the sky following Won. Then a hundred. Then a thousand. All over the East Golden Pillars rose.

Won then shot his hand down.

"Forgoing Heaven Shield!"

His voice echoed across the entirety of the East, silencing the endless quaking.

A humongous golden shield wrapped around the entirety of the East.

He spat some blood and pointed at his golden core.

It began to spin with an unimaginable speed and the dragon resting on it raised it's head up and bellowed. A frown was apparent of the Dragon's face as if it disdained to even consider the Heavens.

"Reverse Heaven Spiral!"

The area's around the spiraling golden pillars began to rapidly wither.

The Golden shield became ever brighter and stronger.

As soon as Won said that his eyes rolled and he collapsed.

Yuna caught him and dropped softly to the ground.

By now because of the golden shield the East was safe.

Yet Won still at the middle of the array continued to glow in gold. His visage projected.

In fact if you looked up the humongous golden shield covering the East it faintly resembled Won.

Those of Ito rushed to their knees and began to pray for their Living God.

Meanwhile Ozaris similarly covered in blood arrived at Won's side.

He hurriedly fetched some Medicinal pills and passed it to Won.

He looked up, "What's happened? The Qi in all of Heaven and Earth has become stagnant, it's volatile and also weak!"

In fact his body itself felt weak, even being at Golden Core made him feel weak. It was as if his Qi was rapidly depleting. Even more shocking was he found his lifespan which at Golden Core should be more than a hundred thousand years whittle down to less than a thousand. It was worth mentioning a mortal demon with no Cultivation only lived for a thousand years.

Furthermore he felt his blood connection dissapear. As a Demon to some degree he was always connected with the Blood pool and it's divine will, but now he wasn't connected at all.

Fear and confusion filled Ozaris's eyes.

Won's eyes slowly opened. Pain wracked his body.

He was also horribly weak.

He couldn't even absorb any Qi.

It was as if it had all dissapeared.

Yet something strange began, the Tattoo on his hand began to deepen in size.

Pain spread from the Tattoo as if it was burning.

Won shakily stood up.

The chaos outside was still present, the shield luckily could defend against it.

No matter what he did he found he couldn't gather Qi. It wasn't that it wasn't there. He could sense it although it was thin, but rather it didn't belong solely to him. Everyone present was taking little bits of it.

Even his body was taking in the tiniest amount of Qi. It was if his body was naturally doing it, not taking in lots of Qi.

Luckily his body was healing him bit by bit.

Won asked the system, "What's happening?"

[The Heaven's of this Universe has severed this world's connection with the rest of the Universe.]

Won's brows furrowed.

He looked around and felt his breath leave him.

He looked at Yuna.

He could hear a silent heart beat alongside hers.

He looked up.

"Yuna..."

Yuna smiled, "I wanted to surprise you. I found out yesterday."

Won's eyes sparkled as endless joy consumed him. Then it turned into grimness and finally wrath.

If the Heavens had discarded this world that meant even Cultivators essentially amounted to mortals. Their lifespans were stripped from them.

Life was something that existed with Qi. Without sufficient Qi any vitality earned through Cultivation is meaningless.

Although someone lets say in Golden Core was trapped in a place without Qi he would still be able to live his full 100,000 years, but in this state the Qi actually was still present but diffusing. It was if their Cultivation bases weren't present.

Won could sense his lifespan locked to a hundred years.

Suddenly Won looked up.

Lightning buzzed and countless bolts fell.

The sky suddenly began to spin, the clouds carried along. It created a great Whirlpool in the sky.

Lightning snaked across the clouds.

A golden lightning bolt flashed and remained in the middle of the Whirlpool.

It began to twist and turn, then more lightning joined. It turned into a frightening Golden Spear with countless etched of great things carved into it's handle.

Won felt danger spread and frowned.

He roared and blood fell from his eyes and nose.

Around Won a blue and red flood of energy emerged. It twisted around him turning into a massive figure, greater than countless mountains. It had six arms and great Celestial crown on it's head. It's face resembled Won.

The figure flew to the sky passing through the shield and catching the Golden Spear.

The Spear began to melt away at the arms that held it.

Won lifted it above his head and devoured it.

The figure rapidly dissolved showing Won.

Won fell from the sky.

Lapsing again into unconsciousness.

The lightning stirred as if wanting to attack again, but couldn't. Angrily it faded away.

In the starry sky, beyond Won's world.

In a Grand palace made from white Jade a woman sat in a pool.

The green silk robe she wore slowly drifted in the seething water.

He black hair staying on the surface.

Beautiful she was unbelievably Beautiful. Her black eye's slowly moved as if looking at something insignificant and her gaze passed countless worlds and voids.

She said as she leaned her head back in boredom, "Hm... Who's that?"

Her eyes began to sparkle in red light.

She looked directly at Won even though he was so far away.

Images began to flutter in her mind, they were pictures of those Won knew. Also were details of his life.

She saw Yuna. She saw Ozaris.

She muttered, "Hm... How could this have happened..."

She looked at one of the images.

In it was a man sitting on a throne.

The image was faint and static, but the instant the image appeared the Woman roared as pain assaulted her.

A heinous scar appeared from her neck to her stomach.

The palace around her crumble and the starry sky around it crumbled.

The Clouds below it shattered.

The woman wailed.

She looked on horrified, "Devil! It's the Devil! The Sage! The Ancient Emperor! Why is he connected to that brat!"

She panted in absolute fright, "Luckily it was just an image of him and didn't contain his will!"

Even though it was a mere image of him that image caused the destruction of nearly 80% of the Universe.
