Chapter 65 - I am the One named Heavenly Defiance!

Won cast away these sentimental feelings, his eyes glittering. Although the past was warm and consoling, it also served to allow one to embrace their present with greater clarity and understanding.

Won last time he had been here was nothing much, an insignificant no named nobody. Now he was the Sovereign Emperor and he also had a family. He wielded greater strength and responsibility, his mind was brighter and with greater aspirations.

Eventually chuckling he could only thank his past self for not giving up in the worst of times.

Turning into a beam he shot to the top of the mountain.

He was floating.

He caught sight of a ferocious beast it was the size of half a mountain. It had the head of a sheep and horns forked into a crown. Six legs that shot off black flames.

It's white fur was almost blinding.

Won stepped on the ground where it's great head rested.

As soon as Won stepped foot on the platform the giant beast began to tremble. It's large eyes the size of a person opened, and it's bright amber pupil like the sun itself beamed light upon Won.

It rose up seemingly slowly, yet in fact it was moving as incredible speeds causing gales.

An ancient voice echoed in the air, "You. Demon what have you come here for."

Won's eye's slightly rose. He had masked his race long since and unless he purposely leaked out his demonic aura it would be hard to observe he was a demon.

Yet the beast had.

Lost to his curiosity he asked, "How did you know I was a demon?"

The beast said slowly, "As I could forget that detestable stench of a demon, it bellows out of you like large waves."

Won was suprised not just from it's way of speaking that although seemed normal, was like listening to a forgotten language. Furthermore although Won felt the beasts strength wasn't all that different from his own, for some reason he had some fear linger between his brows.

The beast asked, "What have you come for demon?"

Won was still in his thoughts, but then said, "I've come to tame you."

The beasts eyes filled with scorn.

Before anything else though, A gigantic Golden Buddha appeared even greater in size that it.

The Buddha pushed it's palm forth which turned a bright red, at first the dancing red embers of it's hand seemed to be simple sparks, but if you looked closely one could see red snakes dancing around the hand as if it was made by countless snakes wrapped together.

{Wrathful Buddha punch: Heavenly King devastation.}

The fist slapped into the beasts face.

The beast didn't move and inch, but in it's eyes was a scalding fury so bright they turned a blinding white.

It slapped it head against the palm destroying it.

It raised it's head and roared, like a loud siren it rang out.

The earth below cracked and the Heavens seemed to rend.

From the ground lave sprouts erupted, as did twisting water columns.

They rose like great serpants ready to entangle the world.

The rose and then fell towards Won.

Won flinched, intense pressure and force bore down on him even before the attack had touched him.

The ground below shattered and he was pressed down.

{Heaven and Earth Protection}

A hexagonal coat spread from the spot between Won's eyebrows. It glowed in a fantastic gold color and the energies in Heaven and Earth were thrown into a fervor as if the shield had become it's own Heaven and Earth and called for all to kneel.

The water and magma slapped into Won.

The shield began to crack and shatter.

Won's blood rolled inside him.

Even though this attack seemed simple, it was unbelievably fierce.

If Wang So could be compared to a blossoming explosion searing everything in sight, then this beast was countless sharp and fierce swords fitting above in the sky each buzzing with a bloodthirsty ferocity.

They were incomparable.

The water was dense like a mountain yet also ever moving like a great sea, and the fire was fiercely thin like a needle and also seemed to exist in the entirety of the world.

Space seemed to twist and Won was locked in place, unable to move an inch.

Furthermore a puzzling sensation like millions of worms wiggling about struck Won uncomfortably.

Blood leaked down his lips.

He even more so felt his Cultivation lock in place as the winding channels within him came to a screeching stop.

Won frowned, "Time..."

His eyes flickered with purple light as he raised his palm up.

{Demonic God Frenzy}.

Won's hair began to magically fly in the air and both his eyes turned completely purple.

His pinkish white hair turned completely white as if from the first snow.

His skin cracked and darkness spread.

Intense vibrations surrounded Won and the area around him.

Won pressed his finger forward.

The finger shattered everything in front of him.

The water and magma collapsed, the warping space collapsed, the Time that were like chains crumbled.

Won's finger began to dissapear.

Won shot up into the sky.

Floating above the beast.

He used his other hand pointed down once.

{Five Yin Finger}.

A gigantic purple hand fell from the sky.

The index finger fell on the beast smashing into it's stomach.

Won again flicked his finger down.

Another gigantic hand this time with the middle finger pointing slammed into the beasts heart.

Won spat out some blood and flicked a third finger.

Yet another one appeared their time with the thumb falling.

It pressed against the beasts head, more specifically the area between it's eyebrows.

Won then clasped his hands together.

The beast was stunned and began to squirm.

It howled, "How could a little brat like you dispell my attack! That's impossible forget the power behind it, the intent within it would destroy normal people!"

It was true.

That attack carried with it the profound qualities of space, time, penetration not to mention a handful of others.

It was a supreme attack.

Even Won barely made it through with sheer luck, he had clearly underestimated the beast.

Of course Won wasn't totally out of solutions, he had {Escape}.

Five Yin Finger was mostly an attacking technique, but it could also function as a sealing technique. Similar to how the Beast used time to stop the flow of Won's Qi, Won was currently pressing down on three of the beasts Yin organs and the Qi flow was disrupted.

The beast struggled and roared, "Release me demon!"

Won stayed silent.

He felt his head become light and exhaustion washed over him. Even though the battle had lasted only a few minutes, the level of the fight was many times more fierce.

Won asked, "Who are you? You are definitely not from this world. You are far greater than a random beast."

The beast stilled, it's eyes turned pale as a ghost.

It lasted for ten breaths and then it began struggling harder.

"Who am I? Do you really wish to know who I am? Very well! I have existed since the darkness! I have watched countless eons pass and I have seen countless Gods perish. I have been the light and I have been the fire! I have been the wind, and I have been the dust. I am the one who shall forever exist, through countless reincarnations. Shall the Heavens reject me, I shall reject the Heavens too! Shall they try and chain me I shall slaughter their skies! I am Heavenly Defiance!"

As it said all this a tremor ran through it's body and it collapsed to the ground.

Won frowned, his blood and soul were in a state of chaos. Those words seemed like fierce earthquakes in his body seeking to shatter him, and the remnant Heavenly lighting within him began to toss and turn in ferocity.

In the sky thunder clouds appeared as far as the eye could see and deep Violet Lighting could be seen pulsating.

Won waved his hand and the dark clouds above dissapeared.

He eyed the beast and found it was shivering.

Won remembered when he was a child, shivering and quaking, wishing to fight this ugly world yet being powerless. He remembered how angry and disappointed he was as he ran away only a few days after his mother died.

He then remembered when crying in the night, his auntie slowly pat his head.

She couldn't help feeling affection for that little boy, and Won couldn't similarly help feeling his heart wrench as he looked at how the beast shivered like a frightened little lamb rather than a ferocious beast.

He began to slowly stroke it's head.

At first the trembling began even greater and then it softened.

An hour passed.

A voice now less violent and more coquettish said, "Enough Demon remove your hand from my hide."

Won complied.

The Beast rose. It shook it's head as if confused.

It asked, "What did you do to me?"

Won raised a brow and shrugged, "Nothing Heavenly Defiance."

The beast looked shocked and said, "You know my ancient name? How! Did I tell you. Well whatever why have you come here!"

Won said, "To tame you."

The Beasts eyes narrowed.

Won said, "At first I would have just tamed you and released you. I have something special to do you see. But I've changed my mind you seem mysterious and you have great strength and potential. I want you to guard my home and my family."

The beast snorted.

It began to leave as if it couldn't handle the unbearable being named Won who stayed without shamelessness.

Won's hand like a metal bar wrapped around the beasts leg suprisingly preventing it from leaving.

Won smiled, "You cost me a finger there don't you think you should pay me back?"

The beast snorted and steam shot from it's nose as it's pressed with all it's strength.

Won did everything he could to hold the beast in place, even then he was dragged a few inches.

The Beast sighed. It looked at Won and said, "In this life I shall never serve another."

Won said, "You won't be serving me, you will be aiding me in protecting those I love."

The beast snorted at Won's willful deception.

"Are those not of the same order!"

Won said, "Of course not. Serving means you don't get any benefits. Aiding means you get benefits."

The beast asked, "Like what?"

Won said, "Once I conquer the skies, Heaven and Earth I will present a greater portion of it to you."

The Beasts eyes widened.

It laughed.

It stared sharply at Won, "Such words shouldn't be said easily."

Won looked back similarly stern, "Even if I must bleed seas, even if my bones are destroyed. Even if I must perish, I shall achieve what I desire!"

"What is it you desire?! And what makes you think your feeble desire can overshadow the Heavens!"

Won said, "I desire a happy life, full of the wonders present in the universe! What makes me able to defy the Heavens? I am Endless neverending desire! I am the disciple of the Bloodiest Devil! I am the Husband of Yuna! I have much that stands on my shoulders and nothing can defy me, for I shall fight to my death to achieve it!"

The Beast looked at Won, then it sighed, "Countless men have countless affairs that they must protect, yet the Heavens have slain countless men. Your arrogance is that of another naive fools."

Wom smiled and didn't say anything. The truth couldn't be told yet, only once the story ended could the Winner and loser be made.

The Beast sighed, "Yet very well. If you can answer a question for me I will agree. This question does not have an answer and the true answer will be what I prefer."

Won nodded.

The Beast asked, "What is good and what is evil?"

Won thought for a moment and said, "There is no good and Evil in my opinion. Just people doing whatever they can to survive, of course there are wicked and heinous people. Some people let's say in a situation where your family has offended some gigantic enemy, some people run, some people even betray, but some people stand firm even at the risk of death. Sometimes a man can say fancy words, talk like a hero, but be a villain poisoning the well.

"In the end of the day although all of these things are insignificant. A persons will is always right in their own world, only when it is challenged and defeated is it wrong. That is how all beings live, it isn't warm to live it's cold and brutal, just one son of bitch trying to get one over on Another. Heavens Will isn't the answer or the full and complete truth, it's just one persons opinion being greater than everyone elses."

"In the end what you mean to say is it is about perspective. The strong rule over the weak."

Won nodded, "In the end removing all flattery, all etiquette, the weak have no power to influence anything. The strong control the good, the bad, the ugly. The only way one can make known their will such that their expressions of Good and Bad are correct is by ruling."

The Beast stared at Won and then asked, "If you were to become the Heavens what will you do."

Won said, "I would either do nothing. No punishment, no blessing, nothing. Or I would probably be harsher like a dictator. I would either give them free will or no will."

Won and the Beast stared at each other.

Won's words echoed in the beasts head, "The only way one can make known their will such that their expression of good and bad are correct is by ruling."

The Beast sighed. It looked up and again sighed.

It thought, "This endless fight... I always lost, I blamed my luck and reincarnated, then I blamed these beings who inhabit it. I was trying to save them, but to them I must have been trying to destroy them. I resented them, and I resented myself. Questioning my entire life I shrunk in defeat when she died and came hiding here. This life! I said this life I wouldn't suffer, I wouldn't be hurt by those who I was saving. I was naive and Ignorant. My Will was so fragile."

The Beast looked back at Won and nodded, "Very well. I shall serve you. On my name as Heavenly Defiance I shall from henceforth till this life expires be your servant."

Won smiled, his face illuminated by the glow of the moon.
