Chapter 3 - losing me

Eventually they parted ways jisung was thinking about it until she text from saeyoung asking to hangout, and well she said yes not thinking too much about it and went out but before she left she put on a necklace that yoosung had given to her a while back and headed out the door. When she got to the park she was excited She loved to go to the park. It was relaxing there was a lake nearby where she fed the ducks Sometimes she was waiting for saeyoung "hey jisung I'm glad you could make it!" he said softly as a soft smile formed on his lips " yeah it's no problem," she said softly with a smile on his face though she had a feeling the mood was off but they continued to walk around the park and then went to the nearby and were feeding the duck when saeyoung noticed jisung's necklace it was a flower shaped charm with little leaves on either side the flower charm itself is light pink and the leaves were a light green. "That's a really pretty necklace where'd you get it?" saeyoung asked looking at it "oh th-thank you so much, i actually got it from lee-san." she said looking down at the necklace happily saeyoung raised an eyebrow "do you perhaps like yoosung?" he asked, looking at her making her blush a bright pink as she basically froze avoiding eye contact with the red head male "uhm uh well i think i do, but i'm pretty sure he doesn't like me back but it's okay." she said softly as her voice cracked a little at the end saeyoung watched as she looked down and her head hung low "why don't you give it a chance and ask him out," saeyoung suggested and gently patted her head "well because i'm almost certain he likes daisy jang from the other class." just as saeyoung was about to say something he was cut off as it started to rain they both pulled out and opened their umbrellas, said their goodbyes and parted ways then for now. When jisung got home she closed her umbrella, put it back in its place, took off her street shoes and put on her house slippers and immediately slumped on the couch, as she thought about what yoosung had told her earlier as they were walking home. "I have something to tell you!" they both said at the same time "oh you first," jisung said happily on the other hand yoosung took a deep breath as he bit his lip a little "i have a crush daisy from the other class." yoosung blurted out and in that moment jisung felt as if her heart sank she had finally got the courage to confess to yoosung only to be torn down, as tears threatened to spill from jisung's eyes she blinked them away and forced a smile on her face "that's great go ask her out i'm sure she'll say yes!" jisung felt her heart break with every word that escaped her mouth even in this moment she had to be selfless she had to be selfish, "maybe tomorrow i think we left campus already." yoosung mumbled as a light blush appeared on his face, jisung forced a giggle as they went their separate ways, by separate ways jisung pretended to forget what she was going to say to yoosung and ran off. Jisung sat at home watching the rain from her bedroom window as her phone continued to vibrate it was yoosung texting her but she couldn't be bother to check it, as yoosung was texting her he figured she went to sleep and left her alone thinking he'd see her at school the next day so he continued his night. Jisung on the other hand couldn't hold back anymore. She broke down in tears "I'm sorry to myself, dear heart I'm so sorry," she mumbled eventually she fell asleep from crying so much and when she woke up it was afternoon she had overslept. Yoosung was worried sick about jisung she wasn't answering her phone and she wasn't at school that was until she walked in the classroom during lunchtime setting her bag down and laying her down, not facing yoosung which was unusual for him. "Hey idiot, where were you why didn't you answer your phone?" he said in a scolding manner jisung quietly sighed lifting her head up facing him "sorry lee-san, my phone died and i overslept," she said forcing her usual cheerful tone looking at him while showing her phone which was not charged "tch idiot, you better charge your phone soon." he said crossing his arms looking away from her but he was relieved that she was okay they were just having a small conversation when daisy came in the classroom "yoosungie can you go get some ongiri for me?" she said cutely resting her arm on yoosung's shoulders "uhm sure- oh by the way jisung this is daisy my girlfriend and daisy this is jisung my friend." he said before leaving jisung felt like a bullet had hit her with every word that yoosung had said, once yoosung was far away daisy stood in front of jisung with her arms folded. Daisy was about 152.4 cm (5'1) which meant she was shorter than jisung, daisy had natural dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes, "stay away from yoosung now got it?" she snickered jisung mumbled a yes not looking at the older female jisung just didn't have it in her to fight with anyone, she felt as if she could barely even breathe in the heat of the moment jisung took her things and left the classroom. Though jisung was naturally a pale color she was paler than usual as she exited the school building, naturally yoosung was concerned when he came back only to see not only jisung missing but her stuff gone as well. Jisung's phone still wasn't charged so he had no way to contact her until after school, but when after school came around daisy wanted all his attention so as a last resort he sent a text to jisung then put his phone away. Jisung had finally charged her phone and just sent as few words as possible 'didn't feel good.' then never answered his text again and at school the few words and ignoring after a certain amount of words continued, jisung would speak a max of 100 words spread throughout the day to yoosung and would often be with saeyoung. Once a ray of sunshine now colder than ice jisung had completely changed toward yoosung and he couldn't figure out why they seemed to be no better than strangers, yoosung felt as if she was being harsh one day he couldn't take he grabbed her by her wrist and making her face him she simply tilted her head "why are you doing this?" he said "doing what?" she said 98 words left he had to be direct he couldn't just beat around the bush like normally would hoping she would understand, "being selfish you're supposed to be happy for me i thought we're friends." he said making jisung angry she practically fuming "I'm the selfish one, I don't think you know what selfish is. So let me explain to you what it would look like if i was selfish as you claim I am, I would have confessed and you would be mine even if it made you miserable and unhappy so i am not selfish. Got it?" she said, pulling her wrist out of his grip and walking awayYoosung was left to think about jisung words for the rest of the day as she ignored him, or turned the other way from him no matter what. Maybe the love he thought was so one sided wasn't as one sided as he thought, he decided the best thing to do is to take a step back he started by breaking up with daisy. She wasn't too happy of course and he felt sorry for but he really needed to just start over, yoosung saw jisung after school he ran up to her and he really didn't want to talk to him which is expected but he managed to get her to stop "i'm sorry for everything jisung i know this probably not the best apology but this is the best i can do for now. The truth is i only dated daisy because i thought you and i didn't share the same feelings, i thought i was losing to saeyoung again, and i know it's a bad excuse but it's my truth and i'm sorry i was an idiot." he said not giving her anytime to respond and just ran off, yoosung was taking a huge step back from everything he stopped showing up to school everyday instead he waited til friday collected all the school work and did it over the weekend and turned it in when he went to get his next set of work, he spent his days studying and his nights working at the convenient store near his house. Of course he was eating three meals a day and drinking water when he went back to school. Things were a little out of the normal he had been to school in a while but other than that everything was fine. He went to class as usual. He was sitting at his desk until he looked over at the classroom door just as jisung was walking in her hair looked different. That's when it hit yoosung jisung had cut her hair. Her long naturally black hair that came down to the middle of her back, now only came down to her shoulders and was a dark blue. "Lee-sunbae good morning," she said bowing slightly before sitting down "morning jisung i see you cut and dyed your hair." he said softly "yes i did" she said in japanese on accident but he understood "do you possibly wanna hangout after school?" he asked luckily his mask was covering his face because his cheeks were a bright pink "sure i'll meet you by the gate?" she asked looking at him and he gave a simple nod in response and then class started.
