The Boss continues to look up while Von throws the enormous ball of energy at him. The Boss smirks at him as he just closes his eyes and suddenly a man in a hood black cloak comes out in front of him and touches the enormous energy ball absorbing all of it.
"So you guys finally came for some action huh?" The Boss said, turning around and walking away from the man in the cloak. Mimi's eyes opened wide as she knew who the man was. The man walked up to her and kneel down and touched Mimi's forehead and she went back to normal.
"See Mercilia I told you that it'll be you on the ground seeking my help." The Man said, turning his attention towards Von with his madness rising.
"Okay peasant you will call me Zero and nothing else. I will give you three chances to get control of yourself. If you fail to comply your death will be more than painful." Zero said, still being concealed within the cloak. Von screams with full rage causing a mighty shockwave. However Zero was still standing looking at him with the cloak covering him and crossed his arms and continued to wait. Mimi gets up and holds her right arm looking at Von losing himself more and more to the darkness.
"Ostrythe we have to stop Von before Zero decides to kill him." Mimi demanded but Ostrythe didn't do anything but do anything. Mimi looks at Ostrythe with a surprise expression on her face. The Boss out of nowhere grabs Mimi's shoulder and whispers near her ear.
"You don't have any control of their fate Mercilia...Unless you do what you are destined to become." The Boss said, giving Mimi a kiss and opening the warp gate behind him and getting out of there. A tear fell down Mimi's face slowly like she felt helpless. Von finally charged forward to Zero at full speed. Zero vanished from Von's sight then reappeared behind as he slammed Von down on the ground.
"That's one..." Zero said, kicking Von which sent him flying away from him. Von coughing up blood but still getting up as his dark aura was healing him. Zero pondered as he was watching Von recovering from his attacks.
"So your Madness has a self regeneration ability very interesting. So that explains how you were able to take a fatal blow from that new Deity. Von you're more of an interesting person than I thought." Zero said, crossing his arms again waiting on Von again.
"I will kill you!!" Von screams out and charges at Zero wildly.
"You'll die trying...That's two..." Zero said, grabbing Von's face and dragging on the desert floor. After that toss him in the air kneeing him the back and followed up with a backhand that sent him smashing with the sand. Zero floated in the air for a few seconds and landed on the ground. Then he crossed his arms again and waited for Von to come out.
"Ostrythe we have to do something before Von gets killed." Mimi said, Ostrythe went by Mimi and shook his head at her like doesn't agree with her. Mimi loses patience with him and decides to go inveretene with Zero and Von's fight. Suddenly grabs Mimi's left arm and pulls her back.
"Don't get involved. I have to let this play out or all of this will be for nothing." Ostrythe said, then suddenly Mimi saw Zero eyes close waiting patiently and not even taking a breath. Suddenly everything was shaking violently like it was a massive earthquake happening. Ostrythe began to smirk because saw Von burst from underneath Zero. Von punches Zero on the face sending flying and crashing within the sand. After that Von started gathering dark energy around to channel into a dark blast. He fired it in Zero direction. And it caused a huge explosion and Von turned back to normal trying to catch his breath. That moment Zero appeared right in front of Von with a flaming greatsword. Wielding it with one hand but Mimi quickly got in front of Von and put her hands out to shield Von. Zero stops immediately and toss his weapon away and the sword vanishes into thin air.
"Von is back to normal now Zero so no need to kill him." Mimi said, putting her hands down and relaxing her body. Zero went up to Von and grabbed his face to check if Mimi was right. Zero saw that what she said is true and let him go.
"So while I have time to spare I can tell everything you need to know." Zero said, looking at Ostrythe standing behind him.
"So we can finally learn what you are and what's going around here right?" Ostrythe asked, Nik came to Von with Jovanna still unconscious in his arms.
"Nik is she okay?" Von asked, looking really concerned about her. Nik handed her over to Von so can carry her. Zero gave Nik and Von a serious stare and decided to walk up in front of them.
"So I take it you are all ready to hear what I have to say?" Zero asked, Mimi and the others nodded their heads and then Zero snapped his finger and everyone was teleported to the Soul Plane again.
"So as you all may know or not I am a part of one of the elite punishment forces in the divine chain. We are called Moon Knights." Zero said, crossing his arms looking at the astral sky.
"Our duty to protect the timeline alongside the Time Walkers and the Goddess of Time. Other than that we aren't getting involved with anything else. However there is something that would force all of the elites from all to get involved and that's the threat of Equilibrium." Zero explained, then Von lay Jovanna on the ground a few seconds then he lay on the ground and saw a rage aura coming from his chest. Zero took everyone's attention to Von and Mimi by making their aura glow brighter. Von's aura is black and red and Mimi's aura is golden.
"So the threat to Equilibrium is Von because he isn't human..." Zero said, Nik and Ostrythe were both shocked to hear this information. Von himself was too shocked to really understand so doesn't believe zero at all.
"No that's a lie...I may not remember anything but I have to be human still." Von said, getting up and distancing himself from everyone. Mimi held her head down and looked away from everyone.
"It's true Von your mother was a Fallen Angel and father is Deity...So you aren't human like me..." Mimi said, tears filling her eyes and she is wiping her face. Zero looks away and continues to stay silent. Mimi looks up at the astral remembering the past.
"My name is Mercilia Mimi Shinori and I am one of the candidates to become the Goddess of Time..." Mimi stated but suddenly Von started to get a glimpse of a flashback of seeing Mimi in the forest with his father leaving him behind.
"I saw you and my father leaving behind in a forest. There is something that you aren't telling me, Mimi." Von said, staring at Mimi and not evening giving the time to blink. Mimi sighed and took a deep breath.
"I sealed your memories away Von...You weren't supposed to get involved but I failed to change the future..." Mimi said, falling on her knees and Von couldn't do anything but just be frozen in place.
"Mercilia is the one and only one to break the Time Walker rules by looking into the future of what's to come. Her punishment is the Time Curse and to participate in the Trial of becoming the Goddess of Time. Unfortunately that is all the time I have for you peasants. I leave the tasks for you all to handle. Mercilia can explain the rest to you Ostrythe." Zero explained and started to walk towards a purple portal that appeared in front of him. But before he left he looked at Ostrythe and smirked at him like that had something in common. Zero went through the portal and it closed behind him and the rest of them are still figuring out what to do.
"Mimi, something tells me that you know way more than Zero knows and I would like to for you to do me a favor." Ostrythe said, looking at Von and looking at Nik.
"What is it?" Mimi asked
"We need to go in Von's Memories and because I believe the location of where to find the tomes are within his mind." Ostrythe said, Mimi looked shocked that idea could work but she just shook her head at him.
"I like that idea however it just won't work...Von's Memories are sealed and to open is that he needs someone that he can trust with his heart to open that door way. Savage made sure that he made it that hard to get inside Von's head." Mimi said, losing the faith in the plan Ostrythe had.
"So Von do you want to get her involved now or do you want to go back into Egypt to find what we are looking for?" Ostrythe asked, Von snapped out of it and just nodded his head to him and went to get Jovanna. Mimi was confused on who this mystery lady is.
"Who is this lady that you can trust with all of your heart von?" Mimi asked
"Stacy..." Von said, carrying Jovanna to the time train ready to go back to the present time. Nik started to follow Von as well but Ostrythe stayed behind with Mimi.
"You can save it. We will not tell anyone your real name because Apollo told me everything that included my father." Ostrythe said, look at the astral sky with Mimi.
"So Apollo broke your seal huh? Should have known oh well and did Anubis free Von's hidden powers as well?" Mimi asked, opening her time portal back to Egypt.
"Yeah Anubis did but it won't be the last of them. Are you coming back with us Mimi?" Ostrythe asked, walking towards Von and Nik.
"Yeah I have to repair the time after the fight that took place. All I can say is that this will be a journey that I don't want you all to walk on." Mimi replied, walking though her portal and closing behind her. Ostrythe continues to walk towards the time train.
"It's all right because we can control our own destiny no matter what. If we have to fight Deities to prove that then so be it. Zero if my hunch is correct and you are The Fire Deity I look forward to fighting you myself..." Ostrythe said, smirking as he walked on the train with Von and Nik.
