The portal to the boys room opens and Von jumps out it while carrying Jovanna. Nik and Ostrythe walked out from it behind Von. Nik speed walked the window and saw that there was black smoke coming from a building from a far distance. Ostrythe immediately went searching for the rest of the gang in the suite. Von got this edgy feeling in his chest like something is wrong. So he closed his eyes and everything went black around him. Von starts seeing Raven's aura and then suddenly Von tosses Jovanna to Nik, then bursts through the window and dash towards her direction. Ostrythe followed behind him picking up Raven's aura too.
"Alright I'll just stay here and hold that fort and watch over Jovanna." Nik said, shaking his head and looking back at the Time portal then came out of. Von and Ostrythe both were speeding through the air. That moment a missile came at Von and knocked him out of the air, smashing him onto the ground creating a big crater in the street. Von gets out of the crater and sees that the city's streets are empty. He looks up and he is shocked that there's a blood moon out.
"Oh no something went very wrong." Von said to himself. Ostrythe was still in the air and just when he was about to go down Von stopped him.
"Ostrythe go find the others please. I have a feeling this might be him." Von said, Ostrythe just nodded his head and dash off to find the others. Von saw a tank driving down the street and without hesitation it fired, hitting Von and going smash into a jewelry store. There was a military truck that was next to the tank and a general came out from it. Von gets out of the store falling on his hands and knees.
"You must be Von. I am General Brock Enzo and I have come to take you in." General Brock said, looking at him with disgust in his eyes.
"I didn't do anything wrong here! I am looking for my friends!" Von shouted.
"You did do something wrong, you are with the Dark Deity and you must be taken in for questioning. I am allowed to give you excessive force if necessary." General Brock said, giving a smirk to Von and raising his hand up getting ready to call the order to strike. Von did a quick step to push himself away from the military. General Brock gave the order to strike at Von, while he was running away from them. The soldier in the building that started firing their assault rifles at him as well as the tank firing at him. Meanwhile Ostrythe made it to the black smoke and was surprised to see that it was an hospital that was attacked.
"Ostrythe!" Stacy shouted outside of the hospital entrance. Ostrythe looked around to see if the others were around. However he didn't so he continued to walk toward Stacy as she stopped to catch her breath.
" What's going on? Why did the hospital get attacked and where are the people?" Ostrythe asked, looking up at the burning hospital building.
" We were trying to stop the boss from starting a pandemic with a virus that he created. Me and Raven evacuated the people from this part of the city." Stacy explained and Ostrythe looked around Stacy. He doesn't see Raven or the others. Stacy gave a sad expression on her face.
"However we all got split up because Lucy felt a dark present and dash away. Raven and the others continue to get the people away from here. I tried to follow Lucy but I heard an explosion. I went to see what it was and it was this hospital. I went searching for survivors so far I have seen none." Stacy said, giving a side of relief but Ostrythe started to ponder what was still going on.
"Something seen off but I don't know what it is...?" Ostrythe questioned but suddenly he felt a dark aura that was surrounding both Stacy and himself. Suddenly Stacy looked at the direction that Ostrythe came from and started running towards it.
"Oh no! I just realized that Lucy must have ran to Von. Something tells me that she is going into a trap..." Ostrythe said, running alongside Stacy heading towards Von's location. Meanwhile Von smashes through a building due to the firing of the tank. Von gets up but is deep wounded from the gunshots. He coughs up blood and falls on one knee looking up at General Brock.
"You shouldn't be fighting me...Your enemy is The Boss!" Von shouted, holding his right arm and starting to lose control of himself. The dark aura started to ooze out of him slowly and the soldiers went to surround him then aim their guns at him. General Brock stood at a far distance shaking his at Von. When all started to seem over for Von a beam of purple light violently smashed on the ground knocking the soldiers away from him. After the light faded away it was Lucy with her scythe. She quickly grabbed Von and started to run from the army.
"We have to get out of here...This is a trap from you..." Lucy said, continuing to run with him and looking back to see that they are being chased. Lucy and Von cut into an alley and bust through a window in a clothing store. Von fell down and the dark aura was creeping over him and causing him to scream in pain.
"Oh no your madness is taking control..." Lucy said, giving a concerning look at him. She quicking got him up but before she could help him someone burst through the front entrance of the store. A woman with two pistols was standing there in front of them. Without hesitation she shot Lucy. The impact knocked her away from Von and went to the back of the store. Von looked closer at the woman and noticed that she had a bandage around her face. Not only that but she had a white and green pistols.
"Why do you look familiar...?" Von asked, not having any idea who she is.
"So sad that your memories are sealed away, Vonny boy. I am Iris and I just came here to make sure that little naughty side yours awakens." Iris replied, taking out her shield to guard against Lucy's strike that came out of nowhere. Lucy continued slashing at her with one arm but Iris was just easily blocking them. Lucy did a quick leg sweep and with all her strength used her injured arm to punch Iris's face to send her flying miles away from them.
"We don't have much time to get out here. So get on my back and I'll carry you out of here." Lucy said, kneeling down but Von shook his head and tried to walk on his own but fell on one knee again.
"Von put your pride as a man to the side and let's go!" Lucy demanded and Von just listened and got on her back. As soon as Von got on the army opened fire on them. Lucy started running away from the bullets and busting through wall to wall. Then with enough momentum she jumped through 9 floors to reach the top of the building. She went to catch her breath a bit but a fighter jet appeared from behind them.
"Damn it Saul!!" Lucy shouted, started to run away from the fighter jet however it opened fire on them. Lucy ran from top of building to building. Von held on for dear life but his eyes started to turn purple. He looked ahead of them and saw that there weren't anymore buildings Lucy can run too. There was a tall glass building that was there and Lucy started to run faster.
"As soon as I jump, you jump off me to bust into that building so I can deal with the jet." Lucy said, Von nodded his head. Lucy used the momentum to jump off the building to get high in the air. Von jumps off her back to break into the window of the tall building. While Lucy gathered up her energy and channeled it to her scythe and it began to glow dark purple.
"Dark Abyssal Slash!" Lucy shouted, the dark slash cut the fighter jet in half and an explosion happened which pushed her within the glass building next to Von. He saw her trying to catch her breath. Von puts his on her chest to feel her heartbeat but her heart wasn't beating at all. Von takes his hand away from her. Lucy gets up grabbing her scythe and helping Von get up as well.
"If you're going to ask...I didn't give you permission to fondle my chest perv...However you couldn't feel my heartbeat because I have none because of the Dark Eternal Curse..." Lucy explained, Von just gave her a hug and it surprised her but she hugged him back. Lucy tapped him to signal to let go of her. He sees her still struggling to catch her breath for some reason.
"So is there a reason you are having a hard time catching her breath?" Von asked.
"The curse claims my heart and in return I have to use my dark aura or other people's madness to breathe and function normally. However I can make someone go mad if I take too much because it's like I am taking your air aura which your body is connected to. Right now I used too much of my aura to evade and run. That last attack also took a lot out of me. So my aura is very low." Lucy explains, Von pondered how he can help her. Then he had an idea that he believed could work.
"Use mine dark aura...I believe it'll be enough for you to get us out of here." Von suggest, to her but she simply shook her head.
"There is no point in that because you'll snap and I can't fight you or Iris like this." Lucy said, pulling Von away from the window.
We have to do something because I can't let you be like this you'll die..." Von said, looking very concerned for Lucy. She looked him in the eyes and gave him a passionate kiss. Von's eyes widened out of shock. Lucy got her scythe ready to battle but smiled at Von.
"It's very sweet of you to want to help me. However you don't know what kind of world that me and Mimi lives in. All you need to do is focus on suppressing your madness and not lose control for me." Lucy said, continuing to smile at him but then her facial expression went too serious at the window.
"And here she is..." Lucy sauid, Iris burst from the floor beneath them aiming her guns at Lucy. This surprise Lucy she wasn't expecting her to come from beneath them
"Hey beautiful, ready for round two?" Iris asked, the room became very intense and the dark vibe started to emerge. The two ladies were about to engage in a battle for Von's sanity!
