Amira gasped the moment her eyes fell on her son. He was laying on a mat unconscious with the local doctor hovering over him and applying medicine here and there.
"Someone tell me where I went wrong!" Amira started lamenting "Or is it that I made a terrible mistake in my past life?"
Tears glistened in her eyes and without restraints, they fell out of her eyes heavily. Takoa immediately went to her sister's side and held her shoulders assuringly. The crowd that had gathered parted the way for them, allowing them to move to where Amira's son lay.
"Great doctor, pray do tell, what situation my son is in now?" Amira beseeched of the doctor.
The doctor sighed deeply and shook his head "It's hard to say what he really is going through but it will be safe to assume that he is hanging by a thin thread to his last shards of life"
And then Amira fell to the ground, her body shaking vigorously with tears falling continously. She looked dejected and defeated, like nothing in the world knew that she also needed their help. Those who were around couldn't help but allow their own tears to fall for Amira and sympathise with her.

Lady woke up with a splitting headache. She groaned, her hand unconsciously going to her temples to rub it. She looked around and saw herself in her room but what made her angry wasn't the fact that she was in her room laying on her bed but it was because a certain person called Mai was sitting in the ground holding what seemed to be her unfinished bracelet.
In one swift movement, she sat up and glared daggers into the back of Mai's head " And why are you in my room, holding something that belongs to me?"
Mai turned to Lady with a smile "Oh, you are up. Come now and sit by me"
"Don't Lady me with that smile, you forced me to abandon my own brother. It isn't like we are on good terms, and this was a chance to try to amend the awkward situation between us" Lady said frustrated.
Mai exhaled "Lady it's isn't like I wanted to see you and your family fall apart but it's a matter of a something that needs to be done for the safety of all"
"Don't even begin with me" Lady snorted.
"Lady, please bear with me and I promise I will tell you everything but at least not now"
Lady rolled her eyes and sighed " And why not now?"
"Because that is not what's really important now" Mai replied.
"And pray do tell what's more important now?" Lady sneered.
"Your gradually dying spirit and how your body is also collapsing along with it" Mai bluntly replied.
"What?"
"Yes, Lady. You interfered in a matter relating to the gods and goddess by going into the God realm, therefore your spirit is crumbling from enormous amount of power it withstood in order for you to access the realm and now it's dying because you acted foolishly" Mai explained, standing up to go sit by Lady.
"I'm really confused here" Lady voiced out.
"I know my dear friend but let's tend to your spiritual essence before anything else"
"I still don't get it" Lady shrugged.
"Your head is already splitting right?"
Lady nodded.
"That's the first sign that your body and spirit are collapsing" Mai continued.
Lady looked at Mia with a funny look and was about to retort but then an excruciating pain shot through her head and she groaned.
"Let's get on with it already" she told Mai.
Mai instructed her to sit straight and cross her legs. Mai sat behind Lady and placed both her hands on both her shoulders. She blew a gentle breeze onto Lady and told her to clear her mind. Mai allowed her power to her fingertips and pressed them into Lady's shoulder bones.
"You should start feeling warm" She said to Lady and stood up.
Lady felt Mai getting up and moving so she asked "Where are you going?"
"We will move into another realm to do something, I need to put a cloaking spell around your hut" Mai replied.
Lady nodded and continued meditating, she felt her body getting warmer and warmer as the minutes went by. Mai stretched out her hands and then she levitated off the ground. With her power she drew symbols around the door, on Lady's bed and then her window. She opened her mouth and said a spell in the god's language. After her spell, though Lady's door was unlocked, anyone with bad intentions wouldn't be able to enter and those who would be able to enter will see her soundly asleep on her bed and thus won't disturb her.
She went back to her place behind Lady and placed her hands on her shoulder again. She closed her eyes and willed her power to flow through her fingertips into Lady's body.
"You are going to feel light-headed and fuzzy but don't worry that's the first step and it's absolutely safe" Mai warned Lady.
After the amount of power Mai wanted to enter Lady's body had fully entered her, Lady felt light-headed and fuzzy just like Mai said. And before she knew she was in a wide field of grasses, that went up her knees. Her clothes were gone and she was now in plain white long clothes. Her hair was let loose and it was inkling around her through a very refreshing breeze blowing through the field. Lady felt content and took a deep whiff of the so much refreshing breeze. She spread her arms wide and exhaled, closing her eyes but then she remembered why she was in the fields in the first place. The smile disappeared from her face and was replaced with a deep frown.
Mai surfaced right beside Lady and said "I don't know if you know but you look really ugly in a frown, you should smile"
"Right, let's tend to my essence and then explain to me whatever is going on with my brother" Lady snorted.
"Right" Mai almost sneered from Lady's silliness "Follow me"
Mai began walking and Lady followed. The ground of the field wasn't the natural composure of pebbles and dried grasses and some occasional sharp things but a smoothened brown glittering ground. It felt cool to the feet and so refreshing that Lady found herself lingering on her steps. She was in awe of everything she was seeing. The place was bathed in golden array of colors. Lady lifted her eyes and saw that the skies had three suns instead of the usual one sun she was used to back in her village. A large rainbow sparrow flew by and Lady's jaws dropped down to the floor.
"Just where are we exactly?" Lady wondered out loud.
"Thought you'd never ask" Mai mused.
"Whatever, so where are we?" Lady asked.
"We are in the god's realm, the common realm to be exact" Mai answered.
"God's Realm, The common realm?" Lady frowned a little.
"Yeah, the god's realm is in three parts, the common realm, the elite realm and the supreme realm. The common realm is where we are now and everyone who can really adjust to his spiritual needs can visit here, the elite realm is where the lesser gods dwell and people with enormous power like you can enter there and the last is the supreme realm, which is where I, together with the other gods and goddesses dwell and you can enter there only by permission" Mai explained.
Lady sighed, followed by exhale as she clasped her hands together "I can't say I got all that you said but at least I know where we are exactly"
"I didn't expect you to get it all but you'd know everything and get used to it eventually" Mai chuckled.
Lady chuckled back and then they fell into silence and continued their walk to wherever they were going to. After a seemingly long walk, Mai finally realeased a sigh of relief and stopped.
"We have arrived" she spoke out.
"Arrived?" Lady craned her neck and looked around and scrunched up her face "But I see nothing but the usual knee length grasses and there's nothing different here"
"Oh silly girl" Mai groaned "Close your eyes and listen deeply from your spirit"
Lady stared at Mai for a moment and shrugged, complying to her words and closed her eyes. She listened from deep within her and that was when she heard, a loud roaring of water and it seemed so close to her. She could hear how the water current came onto probably large stones and calmed down.
"I heard it!" she exclaimed after opening her eyes.
"Okay" Mai nodded and gestured towards the sound of the invincible water "Now let's proceed"
Lady nodded and smiled, she went to stand by Mai and the moment they took a step, they found themselves on the bank of a high waterfall which ended in a pure crystalline stream that flowed from the base of the waterfall disappearing into a wide expense of forest at the far right end of where they were standing.
"I swear Mai, if you had delayed for just a second, I would have struck you down with a bolt of lightning" a strange embodied deep voice said out of nowhere.
