It was decided, they attack. On their formations, they scattered not too far from each other to attack their incoming enemy. The trio stepping in the wolves' border, they started attacking.
"Hey watch out!" Hunter shouted, the trio backing away from the scene. "Amazing" Lily stares agape at the wolves. They were real, the legendary wolves. Their furs as black as the darkness and eyes as red as blood.
"They really are here!! So awesome!! Hey look at their growling sounds, so cute" Hunter adored happily. "You both, its run or die" Aviur rolls his eyes. "But we finally saw them!" he pouts.
"Well we can get eaten right here and now if we still stand here" Lily agrees. Just as the trio were about to back away, something they couldn't have expected, showed up.
A while ago, while the wolves were ready to attack the trio, Rieka was hungry she got distracted by the fat and chubby rabbit running away. She was drooling and knew she couldn't contain her hunger any longer.
And after finally chasing after it, she took it in her mouth and ran back to where her wolf pack was. Resulting it to... arriving at the scene where the three was about to back away.
"A... girl???" Lily was confused and baffled. Right now the trio is looking at a girl clothed in animal pelt. Blood all around her mouth and body. Dropping the dead rabbit on the ground, she growled, waiting for her wolf dad to give the signal to attack the humans.
"We better go" Aviur signalled, the duo nodding and escaping the scene. Having noticed the humans run far away, the wolves stopped, knowing they successfully scared the humans away.
And now... back to hunting again as one small yet fat dead rabbit isn't enough for the pack.

As the trio run back to the kingdom huffing from exhaustion, their knees gave as they lay down on the grass huffing and puffing, their clothes drenched in sweat.
"A girl with wolves?? And on top of that it seems those wolves took her in" Lily says panting. "Don't the legends say those legendary wolves attack every human being they see??" Hunter pants, calming himself down.
After minutes of the trio calming themselves, they sat up on the grass. "There really was a girl back there" Hunter states. "Yes dumbass we all saw it" Aviur sighs, stretching.
"I think she's around Lily's age??" Hunter asks, staring at her. "You think so? I think she looked a bit younger though" she answers. "Well for now let's-" Aviur suddenly dragged both his friends near the bushes, hiding themselves.
"What's wrong?" Lily whispers. "Sorry, it was by instinct" he replied. Just as they were about to go out, they stopped when they saw men with axes and spears.
"Hunters?" Lily gazed. "Seems like it" Hunter agreed. "There should be no hunters allowed in that forest" Aviur glared. "It seems they need to make cash huh" she states.
"Lily, take care of them. Then bring them to the palace when you're done" Aviur orders, Lily nodding in response. Lily, although a commoner, she also has a hidden identity. A friend of Aviur and Hunter, and a top assassin.
"Alright, meet you back at the palace" she claimed, the duo nodding as they stealthy go out of the scene, leaving their assassin friend do the job.
-
"And now, time to kick you back to your palace" Aviur sighs. "Nooo!! Brother how could you do this!! We're friends" he whined, clinging to the prince of Tethoryn.
"Your majesty, the king asks for your audience. Please" the coachman pleads, Hunter clinging tightly to his annoyed friend. "I'm staying here! Tell my father I'll definitely go back tomorrow!!" he shouts.
"Forgive his childish act, sir. Kindly tell his majesty that Hunter had to stay overnight as something urgent came up. But he'll be back tomorrow morning" Aviur exclaims, the coachman nodding as he went back empty handed.
"My bro! Thank you very much!!" Hunter sobs, Aviur pushing him away. "Your highness" the duo turned around to see a Lily, her mouth covered in a mask and her black cloak's hoodie hovering above her head, completely unknown.
Behind her were a group of struggling illegal hunters, mouths covered with a cloth. "Thanks for your hard work. Sorry we had to leave you behind, I had to kick this guy back to his kingdom" Aviur points to Hunter.
"It's alright, shall we go your highness?" she asks, him nodding as the trio go back to the palace. Since illegal hunting is forbidden under their kingdom's law, a punishment is definitely waiting for those guys.
~*~*~*~*~
It was a peaceful afternoon in the wolves' den. The pups, Rieka and the other wolves were taking a good nap in the afternoon as Rieka woke up, having finished her afternoon nap, went to the river to drink water.
She looked up the sky, the clouds blocking the sun. Stretching, she sat down to lick her hand then going into the forest. Looking around, she saw three rabbits happily eating their foods.
Licking her lips, she lowered her body, hiding in the bushes, then stealthy going to the tree, just meters away from her targeted preys.
And in an instant, the rabbits found themselves running away. Opening her mouth, she bit the rabbit's hind legs.
Thanks to her sharp teeth and fangs, she bit the rabbit deeper, causing it to bit. Her prey still struggling, she violently shook it around, still tightly biting on its legs.
After a few minutes, she successfully killed the rabbit. Tearing through its flesh and skin, blood spread out, pooling the ground with red color. A wolf's hunger sure is amazing.
-
After having a feisty snack, she licked her lips, and going around the forest a little bit more. But she just had one problem. She has no sense of direction.
And when I mentioned going around the forest a little more, it actually meant she got lost and is now trying her best to go back. Walking here and there, she felt like she was going farther.
