The bluish white tint flooded out of the door as I stepped in. The invisible door led to a short corridor and at the end of it hid the contents of the room from... Curious eyes. The only beings that were aware of the contents of this room was the guardians that protect it's immediate entrance.
I waited for the door to completely close before I moved. Once it did I stepped through the corridor I paused at the entrance of the actual room. I trusted the guardians of this room but I still habitually scanned the room making sure it was the way I left it, I immediately seen the files on the floor with in the threshold of the silent room in front of my feet and noted that no one has been in here. I took the moment to take in the amazing room once again, marveling over every detail seeing how I only allow myself to enter once per reincarnation before I return with Aiden. I am the creator of this room and that rule but I tend to break it often. No matter how many times I see this room I can never get over it's appearance.
I started my gaze at my feet examining the manilla folders quietly resting on the white grass. I willed myself to stoop down and reach for the files lifting the folders up as well as unintentionally uprooting a small amount of white blades, pinching them between my fingers and the folder. My breath puffed out in thick white clouds I felt the chill finally start nipping at my skin. I muttered a simple warmth spell for myself so I didn't ruin the temperature with on in the room.
My dark blue markings started to glow and emit heat, My body instantly warmed up and started emitting a thin cloud in reaction to the cold room, I made sure not to allow myself to get to hot so I wouldn't ruin the rooms atmosphere. I shook off the grass stuck to my hand and Remembered that I would need to cut the grass soon, sighing I frowned at the thought of yard work. I decided that it was a chore that I would take care of when I returned next. I took another look around and mentally confirmed that I would indeed had much work to do. The floor to ceiling bookshelves were in need of reorganizing, the grass needed cutting, and the tall Cherry tree needed a little attention it's blossoms are shedding it's peddles. I didn't really worry about it the vibrant pink peddles fluttering to the ground I made the room come alive. To save myself the trouble I walked up to the tree trunk and placed my hand on the rough bark and whispered FREEZE.
The downy peddles halted where they were including the ones in midair all aging and movement the second I uttered the word. I enjoyed the room for a second longer. The room was stunning. Most of the walls were covered by the aforementioned bookshelves leaving very few walls but the walls that were exposed were painted a nice color. They here a light gray with dark blue trim it was my color preference not Aiden's but it was the only detail that I chose to add to this room. She likes the winter, books, Cherry blossom trees, and the moon. Not that it mattered Aiden doesn't even know this room exists. The thought of the moon resurfaced and made me look up through the dome moon roof where an enchanted view showed the moon no matter what time of day it was outside of the castle.
The moon was captured while it was full Aiden's favorite faze. This was the cause of he bluish light that flooded this room it's light softly showering over the cherry blossom tree that stood proudly in it's delicate glow. My eyes followed the bright pink down to the Snow White full glass body case that domed over the one and only princess of souls body pink peddles lazily resting on the glass casting tiny shadows over Aidens body.
When Aiden reincarnates her body in blue veil falls unconscious and I am in charge of protecting her body at first she was left to sleep in our room but after a few people snuck into the foyer with hopes of catching pictures of the esteems doing daily unprofessional things. I decided that I couldn't take any chances and immediately decided to start the creation of this room. That's how she came to be encased in the glass casket.
I waked over and loomed over the case a bit and looked at her through the glass. She laid there with a calm and happy look on her face, a smile clear on her face. My eyes scanned her quickly taking note of her hands overlapping each other over her lap resting on the fabric of her coronation dress. Her wings are folded around her as if to keep her warm, her golden feathers coming to rest around mid-calf. I would love to hold her hand or have her in my arms but I knew I had to wait. Some times the wait was excruciatingly long. My hand instinctively came to rest on the glass's surface. I pulled the peddles off of her crown. Her crown bobbed and levitated above the glass case as I plucked the soft peddles away. Aidens Magic kept her crown floating even while she was with the living.
I sighed and stepped away from the case turning away her body forcing myself to brush off the feeling of longing I felt... 'six more days...I can want.' I need to hear her voice call my name while she giggles and says,
"Missed me?"
Just thinking of hearing it made me miss her all over its always when I know the day she will be back when I get this impatient. I dragged my thoughts back to the task at hand and tried to focus. I had to read the files in my hand. So I strolled over the grass patch to the desk off to the side the blades crunching as I stepped on them. I took a seat and scanned the files knowing I would need to return and read these fully.
Name: Luanne Dion Trainer
Death: Died 7 years ago due to Rape / Murder
I grit my teeth taking a deep breath and continued...
Parental Status: Complicated... Mother: Alcoholic / Depressed Currently... Father: Alive / Is unaware of daughters death.
Retrieval rate: Delayed
I couldn't help the growl that escaped my lips as I slammed the file on the desk. The death was still eating away at me I'm not allowed to intervene with her reincarnation lives, otherwise I would have intervened. My patience for earth dwindled each time Aidens life is cut short unjustly. It was frustrating that I couldn't do anything. I wanted my wife back sure but, not if her life has to be cut short by some other jerk. It was time to go visit Ludo. I pulled a cupcake through a small portal that led to the inside of my fridge and placed it on the desk. I know she will enjoy this she's been asking for it for a while now, I turned to put away the other files I had requested I'll read them when I return and with that I closed the drawer and summoned a portal to earth and rubbed my eyes trying to clear the stress I know was visible on my face.
'Okay Ignius smile you're about to visit Ludo smile.' with that last thought I stepped through the portal and forgot the cupcake... I'm sure she won't notice... Hopefully.
