After my class, I waited for him infront of his department. After half an hour of time, he came out and surprised to see me their . He exclaimed ,so are you ready for the race. I told him,but I have some conditions . Okay ! what are they . I had three conditions . First one ,don't tell anyone about me. Second ,don't ask again for competition. And last ,you should wear same dress as me with mask covering face. He was silent for a moment and told me that if you win, I will accept your first condition otherwise , I will not, and accepted my other requests. And he didn't ask any question . I too challenged him to get ready to face me . He said okay! don't be over confident, I know all your moves . I told him ,You also know my strength and I defeated you twice . He said not this time . I told him we will see.
We fixed a time,venue for the competition . Soon, it has spread all over the college, even it was in college forum, as John is competing with someone in college ground at 4:30pm . Only Suzen,shira,Joseph, Valentin, joe and Jack has known about me . I told them to keep it a secret . I went back to my dorm . Everyone in the dorm are gossiping about our battle. The fun part is that everyone is telling to me about the battle . Hahahaha ! I went back to my room . I took rest for a while . After that I started to dress up for competition. I started to look all around the place . I myself looks like a thief . I laughed at myself , and silently I came out of the dorm . He was waiting for me carrying two bags . He saw me and show me the bag and he droped the bag on table .
I ran to it and open the bag and surprised to see the dress . I almost forgot to tell him that I too bought same dresses for both of us. I wore the dress he gave me and put mask, helmet and roller skates on and went to the place he told me . I was surprised to see that the whole college is waiting to see our battle. I was terrified and scared . But , somewhat I am happy to participate . Well to be frank, except my friends, no one knows about me . Everyone is very enthusiastic to know about me . Then the crowd was shouting his name . All of a sudden the ground became too noisy. He came to the ground with same dress. Everyone was so confused after seeing us . Only difference is our heights . I was short . He hold my hand and take me with him to the starting line . Then John wrapped a red colour cloth to his hand . I asked him why? he said To let them know the difference. I smiled at him and gave him a shake hand . And our match started with the count down 3,2,&1.
We are in rage to compete with eachother. It's like a battle that was never fought before . We both are trying our best to overcome . In the first lap I was first ,second lap he came first , I tried very hard in the third lap but can't defeat him ,I tried my best in 4,5,6&7 laps from the eigth lap I was too furious and controlled my body to make a fast move, my special move . He too don't know about that move . With that move I just crossed him and everyone was soo surprised and in shock . Even he was shocked to see me make that move . In a fraction of seconds I moved very fast and crossed him and won the match defeating his all time record i.e., 10laps of 300m inline skating in 30min10seconds of time .
After winning the game I just left without saying any word .
The crowd was surprised and most of them became my fans . They thought that I am a man . And they even named me as mysterious man .
After that I came back to my dorm I packed the dress he gave me and hid it under my bed. And after a while everyone came back to dorm. Su was still in shock and said I almost had an heart attack while watching your match . She started to asking so many questions . Like, Why did you stop skating ? Why din't you restart ? What is the reason ? You are amazing in the rink blablablabla . Omg !I was too confused . Why did you left ? I told her to keep low and I can't say now . But I will definitely answer all your questions one day I told her and came out of my room . And everyone gossiping about our match . They put our match in college forum . I got so many fans, wow! Even some people started my fan club as mysterious man club . I too joined that club hahahaha ! Every one was praising me . Some people fell in love with me . My good luck is that, they don't know who I am .
I sat under a tree for a while . I was too tied after the match . John came with two cups of coffee . I asked him how did you know that I am here ? He said I was searching for you . He gave me a cup of coffee . We both sat togather . He didn't ask me anything , but he said that never leave without saying a word . I said okay. We sat silently for a while .
Suddenly my phone rang ,it's su where are you ? I was in the park . It's getting late , all of us are waiting for you in the cafeteria ,come fast . Okay! John all our friends are waiting in the cafeteria come, lets go . We went to cafeteria and coincidentally we ordered the same food . We joined them . I know they have lots of questions in their mind to ask me . But , I am afraid to answer them . So I sit quietly and ate my food.
After a while all of them are busy with their phone's . I asked them what happened . Shira told me to open the college forum . John and I look into eachother and I opened my phone . After seeing it ,I made a big sigh. It was about miss fresher competition that a girl named Princy from the dance department and I got the same voting. so , the department's choose a dance competition to decide the winner . The competition will held tomorrow evening at audi .
Su told me , are you really going to participate . Everyone was starring at me for my answer . Why not?
John asked me ,do you know dance ? I saw him so worried also su and others . They are telling me that ,she is the best dancer in our college . And it's not fair. They are all very worried . I told them , it's okay forget about winning or losing participation is more important than anything and I really was not interested in winning miss.fresher title. They were soo worried because they believed that I can be the winner,but they accepted my words .
After our dinner we went back to our dorm . Our seniors are waiting infront of our room. I rushed to them and asked them what happened . HARRY my senior and class leader told me did you see the college forum , yes! He told me it's unfair we are just painter's they are already professionals in dance , how could they compete with an unprofessional as we . By the way, I forgot to ask you . Do you know dance ? I told them the same answer . And also told them that I will try my best to win . Suddenly dance department students crossed us laughing towards us and commenting us that ,like everytime this time too our department will win this prize in a sarcastic way. All our seniors feel depressed and were soo blue. So, in return I challenged them . If I won they have to apologise to all my seniors if they won we will apologise . At that moment the corridor was so silent . My seniors had no idea what am I talking about . They decided that I will surely fail this time because Princy is the best dancer of our college . But they accepted the challenge , for the sake of me. But they are too blue because if I fail they have to apologise so they turn very blue with a long face they left . Dancer's department too left my place .
I went to my room . Su asked, are you sure about this? Yes ,ofcourse, I was soo confident . She was shocked to see my confidence. She was in confused state . I went to sleep. I woke up early morning , she was still sitting on the chair and thinking about me . Her eyes turned red , face became so pale , she became so tied and worried . I told her go back to sleep . But she was still so worried . I understood her , and told her a secret that I know dance very well. She was relieved and went back to sleep.
I left for a walk John is waiting for me downstairs I was shocked to see him. He told me that I know you will definitely come to skate . I told, I came for a walk . He told me, I want to ask you a question . What is it ? I came to know about your, your , challenge he said. Ohh okay , then he asked me do you want any help? I said it's fine I can manage myself . Are you sure . Yes, I am sure . We walked for a while and went back to our dorms . Everyone came to know about my challenge . Even our staff came to know about my challenge . I thought what on earth is this every news of mine is spreading like a virus (very fast ).
I roll up my sleeves and went to college. Everyone was starring at me . Shhh !! It become my daily routine . I went to my department . Our department head called me to his office . I went to the office. He told me that I am so worried about you . I can't help this time . Because dance department head was very old and strict all our staff was afraid of him . He is also the vice president of our college . So we know that it's unfair competition but we accepted ,Sorry.
I told him , sir don't worry this time, I will do my best . Okay ! If you fail, its okay, don't take the blame all by yourself . I told him okay sir thank you for your concern and I left to the class.
My fellow members are very worried about me and are starring at me. Then my senior Harry came to the class and told that it's a free day you can do whatever you want and he left . I relaxed for a bit and take out my phone and put on earphones and listened to select a song . After an hour I selected a song and was composing with my eyes closed. After that I opened my eyes ,my friends all are watching me .I just jumped on my seat and told them you guys scared me to death. What are you doing . They said , they are worried. It's fine . Just watch the show and encourage me okay . We will definitely . I left the place and went to my room.
It's almost time they are all waiting for me in our audi . They are very tensed . Princy came first she looks like an angel . Whole college came to see our dance . Everyone in the Audi were mesmerised by her beauty and all my fellows gave upon me the staff, seniors even John and su .
All the people are making fun of me . Then in a mean time I stepped into the Audi .I wore a shinning dress , with full makeup and I leave my hair . I look perfect in every angle. My friends are realxed by seeing me .
They told me that you look gorgeous , you are like dazzling star, even though they are worried, they praised me for a while .
Our competition begin with anchor speech we both tell her about our song in secret she told us that you both choose the same song. Oh no ! Why did this happen . We both didn't understand anything . Then Princy head came to the stage and told us that give your best . The audience will choose the winner. We both were relaxed .
Anchor call upon Princy first . She started the dance like a bloom . Her moves are very particular . But she just concentrated in the moves. Not in expressions ,body postures , etc..,
Then it's finally my turn to shine and to show everyone my talent in dance. Anchor called my name . I just stepped on the dias. My friends are cheering me. I stood on the middle of the dias . Music started , I started to dance like a feather , like I got wings and like nobody's watching me , carefree but very particular in everystep. Everyone was awe-struck , the Audi became silent for a while . I just told anchor the song but I mashed my song with some beats . Mine is totally different style from hers . I finished mine , suddenly the head of dance department came up and hold my hand and said that you won . You are really something , you are the gift of god , your dance moves are very perfect . Everyone in the Audi praised me and all of them become my fans .
Some boys even proposed me, When I came downstairs .I just smiled to them.
My head praised me and my seniors especially su she was still in shock. John remained silent .My seniors told me that they had arranged a party for celebration of our victory. I told Harry about su and John . Harry told me to invite them. I went to john and su asked them that my seniors are giving me a party can you join me ?they told me yes ,ofcourse for sure .
AN ALL ROUNDER IS A WONDERFUL THING TO HAVE . AT THE MOMENT WE DONT POSSESS ONE. ITS LIKE NOT ON FIGHTING THE OLD. BUT ON BUILDING THE NEW.
