Mayami in no time reached her room, for the moment the instructor left, she decided to leave right after.
At first, she had high hopes that she would somehow be able to make it through the academy but all that was dashed into pieces when she got a brown card that clearly showed that she was one step behind others.
She sat on her bed in her own side of the room, with her luggage around her, surrounding her bed. Her supposed roommate who she was yet to meet, wasn't around so Mayami was glad to be left alone to wallow in the sadness and gloom she felt in her heart.
"I mean, it's not that I was hoping to do exceedingly well or discover some hidden magical talent that I had, I just wanted to be normal only to find out that I'm not and I'm way behind," she thought while lying face down on her bed, bemoaning her unforeseen bad luck.
