-Room of Requirement - Training Room-

"Damn... If every time my body reacts like this to any dark magic, then I'll be useless in war" I muttered, punching the ground beside me.

After my little problem with the Ravenclaw's Diadem, I used the Room of Requirement to create a training room, where I decided to train to release all my frustrations at feeling helpless and weak again.

I trained so much that I became sloppy at times, where many of the enchanted bats and balls hit me, and now here I am, lying on the cold floor of the Room of Requirement with my whole body aching.

"Sigh, 5 years... 5 goddamn years" I said to myself aloud, looking up at the bright ceiling of the Room of Requirement, "It's 5 years before this damn war starts, and I need to get strong enough to be able to fight in it, but here I am complaining"

"Hah, I still have a lot to learn" I let out a derisive laugh, "Voldemort has had 50 years to learn all kinds of spells, and has the experience from the last war. Compared to him now I'm just another talented student, and I don't doubt he's already killed his fair share of talented students"

Staring at the ceiling, I started to think about all the things I'd accomplished so far.

I learned a lot of spells, but I still don't think they are enough. I also have my Beast Power, but I feel like I'm not using it right, and I don't know how I can solve it.

I also know that as someone who has been reborn, and in a world that is supposed to be fictional on top of that, I should give more credence to the signs my Beast Power is showing.

It all started with the appearance of Beast Power, then I had that weird dream, and now what happened in the Room of Hidden Things.

"Mysteries and more mysteries, as if my days weren't complicated enough already," I muttered.

I then let out a weary sigh and got up off the floor.

"But you know what? Sitting here complaining isn't going to help me at all" I said, "I still have to figure out a way to kill an millennial snake"

Casting a {Tempus} I saw that I had been training for over 2 hours.

"Well, I guess now I deserve some rest," I said, stretching my shoulder which made a painful snap, "At least my Beast Power heals me faster, so I don't have to worry about going to the hospital wing"

Feeling like lying down and taking a nap, I packed my things, cast a basic cleaning spell on myself, and walked out of the Room of Requirement towards the Ravenclaw Common Room.

-Ravenclaw common room-

After I took a relaxing shower to get the excess sweat and fatigue out of my body, I went downstairs to the common room, where I took my rightful place in my armchair.

As I lounged in front of the fireplace, I felt that my friends were approaching the passage of the common room.

"So I had to pretend to be sick so my mom wouldn't take me with her to that dance," Terry said, chuckling a little.

"Really?! Hahaha, I would have loved to have seen your reenactment" Stephen commented.

"Well, maybe I'll make this before our next Potions class, then I won't… Oh, Hey Ethan!" Terry called out to me, and I, without opening my eyes, waved at them.

My friends then started to sit on the sofas and chairs in the common room, only I heard a chair being dragged to my side.

"Ethan?" Lisa hummed, and I opened my eye to look at her, "Could you tell me about the creatures of the forbidden forest?" she asked with a look of innocence that didn't fool me.

'This is the seventh time she's asked me this question this week alone' I sighed mentally, while looking at her suspiciously.

"Lisa, why do you want to know so much about the creatures in the forbidden forest?" I asked, looking at her with narrowed eyes.

"Can't I just be curious? I'm in the house of scholars who are known for their thirst for knowledge and great curiosity, so is it so weird that I want to know more about such a mysterious place of the school?" Lisa said to me with her hands on her hips, and I stopped to reflect on what she said.

"Sigh... Okay, you can ask me about the forbidden forest" I said tiredly and amused.

"Really?! Thank you" she hugged me happily, "Wait a minute, I have the questions written down" she said going to her bag.

"Alright... wait a minute, what do you have?" I asked and then saw her take a parchment out of her bag and open it, and I was astonished to see that the parchment was almost four feet long.

"How many questions are on this parchment?" I asked impressed, "No, wait. Actually, why are you asking me about the forbidden forest? Isn't it better to ask Hagrid, who almost lives there?" I looked at her curiously.

"Err… Well, it's just…" Lisa started to say, shifting uncomfortably in her chair.

"It's just that Lisa is afraid of Hagrid" Sue interrupted, and Lisa turned to her with a betrayed look, "What? It's the truth" Sue shrugged.

"Are you afraid of Hagrid? That Hagrid who acts like a child when he sees a new animal? The same Hagrid who offers us hot chocolate when it's snowing?" Terry asked, looking at Lisa strangely.

"I know he's huge and all, but come on! The guy wouldn't even hurt a fly!" Michael, yes, Michael, our Ravenclaw colleague from the same year, said in defense of the half-giant.

"Look, it has nothing to do with his height or him being scary, it's just..."

"Oh, I remembered," I said, with a memory of our early days at Hogwarts coming to mind, "You've told us before, the day of that beard prank the twins played in the Great Hall, that you had afraid to beard and hairy faces!" I said, and what followed was an awkward silence.

...

...

"I had forgotten about that weird fear of yours" Stephen commented.

"And to think you're not afraid of normal things like bugs and clowns... Pff, but you're afraid of a beard" Padma said, resisting the urge to laugh, only Mandy didn't have the same control.

"Hahahahahahaha!"

"Hey! You talk like you don't have any weird fears" Lisa said, crossing her arms with a snort.

"As weird as being afraid of a beard?" Michael asked with a raised eyebrow, "Hmm, no"

"Michael, you're afraid of dolphins" Stephen commented.

"Of course! Dolphins are as mean as any other animal. They play with their prey, they even kill sharks, and they get high using puffers" Michael said, and that was enough to make us stop laughing at Lisa, as we busied ourselves with turning to look at Michael strangely.

"Dude, you need help... Urgently" Stephen said, and Michael just frowned at him.

"I want to see you repeat that when you're attacked by a dolphin," he muttered scowling.

'What are the chances of me being attacked by a dolphin?' Stephen wondered, sweating at the thought.

...

...

...

"Wait, if Lisa is afraid of bearded people, doesn't that mean she's afraid of the Headmaster?" I asked, and everyone looked at each other before we turned to Lisa, who looked away in embarrassment.

...

...

"So she's also afraid of Santa Claus?"

"You can change the subject!"

End.

(End AN: So my dear readers, do any of you intend to watch or have you watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

I thought I would be more excited for the movie, as I was for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it feels like there's something missing for this movie to captivate me.

Maybe just watching the movie to know if it's good or not.... But the special participation of certain actors and actresses can be something I like)
