Eurico and Hurus, after seeing me, started making fun of me, pushing me, and also giving me some 'weak' kicks, and meanwhile, I was in a fetal position on the floor. Until then, I accepted everything, as I knew that if I fought back it would get worse, and I think that when they both realized that their 'pranks' didn't affect me, they got angry...

I always knew that most of my 'brothers' were stupid and boring, and bullies who would flinch if they found someone stronger than them, but I never realized how cruel they could be...

When Eurico and Hurus saw that I was ignoring their mockery, they decided to change their approach. And at that moment, they realized the book that was in my hands.

This book might not be expensive or new, but it was the first book I got. This book was left in the basket for me by the lady, and since then it had become very important to me.

I was never taught to read, only to do basic math, I think so that I can count the stolen money more easily. But as soon as I picked up the book, I instantly knew how to read what was written in it. The letters, the shapes, everything. I understood every bit... it was magic! It was like when I got the diary and could write in it easily.

So when I saw the…the bastards, idiots, childish of my 'brothers' take the book out of my hands, knock me down, and start kicking me, all the anger and dislike I'd been harboring inside of me erupted. And that's when something happened...

My 'brothers', who had my book in their hands, kicking me harder, ended up falling to the ground, screaming in pain, with both arms bent at angles that obviously weren't right, and their legs bleeding, with a cut that went from the heel to the knees.

This happened so unexpectedly that my mind had shut down, and I only came to my senses after hearing their screams getting louder.

I knew that if my 'parents' saw the two of them in that situation, they would think it was me, since I was the only one there and they liked to look for even the smallest reasons to punish me. Then I started to panic.

I started breathing heavily, thinking about how to make the wounds heal, and my emotions started to get out of control. The screams, the hurried footsteps coming towards us, and my ragged breathing started to make my head ache, and the closer the footsteps got, the more panicked I became, until suddenly their wounds healed, and even your arms are back to normal, as if it never happened!

And it was at this exact moment that my 'parents' and some of my 'brothers' arrived, and found the scene where Hurus and Eurico were shaking and crying on the floor, while I was lying in a fetal position, paralyzed with shock.

My parents then asked what happened, and neither I nor the two idiots could explain what happened. But one thing we did know, that everything that happened was caused by me.

And since that happened, Hurus and Eurico, and even some of my other 'brothers' who heard about what happened, started looking at me with fear and caution.

And I'm loving it...

------

'This is a lot like Riddle's story' I thought, staring at the part where Marcel says he enjoyed hurting his 'brothers'. But if it were me in his place I would probably feel the same way.

'And I can't think like Dumbledore, believing that any child who has anything similar to Riddle is evil' I sighed mentally.

'But what kind of magic is this, that makes someone who has never known how to read or write, learn all this just by touching a book?' I questioned myself, and then continued reading.

Today I received another book from that lady. It was a book with a red leather cover, with brown and yellow embroidery, and on the front of the cover was a picture of a lion... I think it was a lion, but it looked different from the lions people describe.

Continuing, the book talks about some strange animals, similar to those in legends and myths. There was a bird... horse... eagle... it's a confused animal, and the book said it could summon storms. There was also a rodent that could turn into fire, and there was even a cat with deadly breath, all those beasts they were amazing, and their descriptions and drawings almost felt alive!

Today I spent the whole day reading under the tree where that lady left me baskets. After using my... power? I think I'll go with it... After using my power to discipline my 'family', my days were much calmer.

I always have something to eat and read, thanks that lady, my 'brothers' are so terrified they don't try to torment me anymore, my 'parents' no longer ask me to shoplift, but I still do some anyway, and my thefts they got easier thanks to my powers, and all the money I get I keep to myself.

So I'm living my days relaxing...

Oh, and I also got a new book that talks about some runes or something. I found the book very interesting and I didn't even have to read it to know what the symbols, or runes as written in the book, meant. It was like I always knew what they meant, just like when I picked up the first book that lady gave me, which felt like I always knew how to read.

'Who will this lady be? These books are obviously wizard books' I started to question myself, 'This story is getting more confusing and mysterious... Sigh'

August 13, 1753

Today I received a strange visit. A man who introduced himself as Oracius Gibbson came to my house and told me I was a wizard! Yes, a wizard! Amazing, right?

A wizard who could cast spells and curses, who could do things that seem impossible. A wizard of the legends, who were feared and sometimes envied by the people, who were hunted by the people and were a race that the churches so hated...

Now that I stopped to think, being a wizard might not be that good...

But I don't think I can change that since that's who I am.

Well, I really didn't fully believe this strange man at first, but if the magic were real, that would explain the abnormal happenings taking place around me.

After Mr. Gibbson, who I found out to be the school's Charms Teacher, explained to my 'family' about the wizarding community and about a school called Hogwarts, my so happy 'family' started looking at me with fear and disgust, and then they started calling us heretics, monsters, servants of the devil, and many other things.

Seeing how my 'family' began to threaten me, to curse, and to get aggressive, Professor Gibbson took a stick out of his robes and pointed at my 'family'. He then muttered something and a white beam came out and hit them.

My 'family' then started looking confused at Professor Gibbson, who motioned for me to be quiet, and he then started to explain that I was accepted into a school that was in a distant city and that I would need to stay at that school for 10 months.

I was surprised that he started talking about school again, but without the magic part, but then I looked at my 'family' who seemed to accept everything he said and I finally understood that that beam of light that Professor Gibbson played must have done something. And since he wants to hide the magic from my 'family' I totally agree.

After explaining to my 'parents', Professor Gibbson said he would take me to buy school supplies, but my dear 'parents' didn't have or didn't want to give me money, so Professor Gibbson had to say that I could use the orphans fund.

So with that, my 'family' 'gently' sent us out, and without bothering with them, Professor Gibbson took my hand and started to lead me to a secluded place, and then he did some witchcraft that transported us from there to an alley.

He then took me to a place called Leaky Cauldron, a pub that was the entrance to the shops of the wizarding community in Diagon Alley.

The Alley was amazing! He had weird stores and people selling their wares that were even weirder. I couldn't stop staring openmouthed at all the things around me, and that seemed to amuse Professor Gibbson.

Professor Gibbson then led me to a large white building, which he told me was the magic bank. Inside that bank were some people, but what really caught my attention were the creatures that were dealing with people, and after an explanation from Professor Gibbson I found out that these creatures were called goblins.

After talking to a goblin, I took some coins from my orphan fund, and went out with Professor Gibbson to buy my materials.

Purchasing the supplies was quick and simple, and I didn't spend much as all my supplies were secondhand, and the last purchase of the day was my wand, which was like the stick Professor Gibbson had used to bewitch ? Yes, I think that was it... Well, the stick he had used to bewitch my family.

It took a little while to get a wand right for me, but in the end I did, and now I am the owner of a brown ebony wand with a dragon heart core.

After shopping, Professor Gibbson brought me home the same way he took me to the alley, and then gave me the latest information to get to school, saying that a teacher would come pick me up to take me to school, wich will start on September 1st.

End.
