Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A week had passed since the day Harry had met Sirius, the same day I had to answer questions from the golden trio.

In the past week, nothing very interesting has happened, of course, not to mention the turmoil and panic in the wizarding world when the Ministry revealed that Pettigrew had escaped.

But I guess Pettigrew escaping the Ministry wasn't as amazing compared to Sirius escaping Azkaban, because after only three days people stopped talking about it.

Two days before this news was spread by the Daily Prophet throughout Great Britain, I visited my parents at the request of my mom, who said that they needed to talk to me, and there Penny and Sirius told me about Pettigrew's escape, not wanting me to find out about it from the newspapers.

They also filled me in on the things Amelia found out, but beyond that they told me that I shouldn't go after Pettigrew like I did Sirius, and I could feel that they were worried about me.

But it wasn't just Sirius and Penny who were showing concern for me. My parents also spent the whole day warning me not to do anything dangerous, and that I should forget about Pettigrew and let the ministry take care of him, and in the meantime I should enjoy my days at school.

Nick was also around when everyone started telling me to be careful and not do anything risky, but the only thing he did was stand still and lean against the wall with his arms crossed, watching me intently.

I didn't know why he kept glaring at me like that, however I could feel he was worried about me too, and luckily he didn't try to give me a warning either.

I really appreciated everyone's concern for me, but at some point in the conversation they started to over-protectively, completely forgetting that I was capable of defending myself if necessary.

But that matter aside, after the talk and whispers about Pettigrew's escape subsided, at least at Hogwarts, everything was back to normal.

And by normal I mean that I went back to spending most of the day training when I wasn't in class.

However, I slowed down my training and studying, as I wanted to spend more time with my friends.

And there were two reasons why I did it.

The first was that after seeing what happened to Sirius I realized that I should value my friends more, who I knew were true friends thanks to my Beast Power.

And the second reason was that I realized that in my moment of anguish and affliction over my first murder, the person who helped me was a friend, and I realized that if something like that happened again I would want to be surrounded by my friends and family to calm me down.

My motives may seem a little selfish or stupid, but that doesn't change the fact that in all my happy moments in this new world and in this new life, I was accompanied by those important to me.

My parents, Cele, Nick and Penny, Terry, Anthony, Luna, the twins, all my friends, Sirius, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick. They've all made my life more fun and exciting, and I'd have to be an asshole to ignore them.

And with all that in mind, I began to understand why magic based on emotions, especially love, was so difficult and complex, yet powerful.

-Hogwarts – Great Hall-

I was currently in the Great Hall having my breakfast while trying to ignore all the happy and nervous voices around me.

"Dude, how can you eat with such a calm look on your face? Actually, how can you eat in that situation?" Ray, one of the new reserve Chasers asked, his face pale and sick.

"Simple, I'm hungry," I replied, going back to devouring my ham and cheese omelette.

And listening to my answer Ray blinked in surprise, and Roger who was beside him patted his shoulder.

"Don't bother trying to understand Ethan, I bet even he doesn't understand what goes on in that clever and treacherous mind of his" he said, and I looked up from my plate, fixing Roger with a dry look, not stopping to eat.

"What?" Roger asked innocently, and I went back to ignoring him in favor of my food.

Seeing this, Roger shook his head with an ironic smile, looking back at Ray.

"And you should eat some too, you don't want to go to the match hungry" Roger told him.

"Ugh, I don't know if I'm going to be able to eat anything, I'm so nervous" Ray said, "This is going to be my first official match... What if I do something stupid?" he asked fearfully.

"You're just worrying too much," Roger reassured him, and then pointed across the table at a girl with short black hair with freckles on her face who was eating as voraciously as I was, "And look at Blair, today is also going to be her first official match and she's eating just like everyone else."

And Blair, who found herself in the spotlight so suddenly stopped eating, lifting her face and gulping down her food.

"Actually, I eat when I'm nervous," she said, with an apprehensive look.

"Oh…" Roger said, his hand slowly dropping.

And seeing that, Ray started to shift in his seat, letting his nervousness and worry take over him.

The reason everyone on the Quidditch team was gathered together and so nervous was because today was the day of the last Quidditch match of the season, which was Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw.

The result of this match was already decided for many, with the victory going to Ravenclaw, but there were still those who held out hope that a miracle could happen and that Gryffindor could still end up lifting the cup this year.

The chances of Gryffindor winning were small, but not non-existent, but everyone knew that it would be an almost impossible challenge for the lions to beat the invincible ravens, who had remained undefeated since my first year.

In today's match there were three things that could happen.

First, Ravenclaw wins, which is what everyone thought was going to happen.

Second would be for Gryffindor to somehow turn around and end up beating Ravenclaw by a huge points gap, winning the cup in the end.

And when I say large amount of points, I mean a really large amount, like 400+ points.

And then there was the third option, which was for Ravenclaw to destroy Gryffindor by winning the match and scoring over 300 points, and with that result Ravenclaw would end up breaking the record for most points scored in a single season by a team.

And I think it was obvious to anyone what option the Ravenclaw team and I were looking for.

And in the end, this match boiled down to which team will be able to score the most goals.

-Quidditch Pitch – Visitor Stands-

[POV – Third Person]

"It's been a long time since I was here" Sirius said looking around with a nostalgic look, lost in his memories of his youth.

Looking out over the stands filled with students cheering and singing happily reminded Sirius of when he and his friends would come and cheer on the Gryffindor Quidditch team when they were students.

The green grass of the field, the clear sky with the wind brushing your face, the sound of the voices of the other Hogwarts students and staff chatting, cheering, and even teasing the rival house. All of this brought back good memories for Sirius, which made a slight smile appear on his face.

"Yes, I know how it feels" Remus, who was sitting next to Sirius, said to him, smiling softly at his friend.

Sirius and Remus had already had their emotional and tearful reunion, which happened on the same day that Harry had met Sirius.

After Harry, Ron and Hermione returned to the castle, Sirius remained in the private room at the Three Broomsticks waiting for someone, and that someone was Remus, who had asked to meet Sirius.

Remus, as soon as he learned that Pettigrew had been found alive and that he would have a trial, immediately realized Sirius really was innocent, and since that day he wanted to find his friend to ask for his forgiveness.

When he heard that Sirius was cleared he immediately wrote a letter to arrange a meeting, and was overjoyed when he received Sirius' positive reply, saying that they could meet later that afternoon at the Three Broomsticks.

Their reunion was just as exciting as the one that took place in the original timeline at the Shrieking Shack, mostly because they didn't have to worry about the traitorous rat or the three confused and angry teenagers.

Remus had apologized to Sirius for not trying to find out the truth and for letting him spend 12 years in Azkaban, and Sirius had apologized to Remus for having mistrusted him when he suspected there was a spy in the order and for not trying to talk to him when he escaped from prison.

And after that moment of apology and forgiveness, the two old friends spent the rest of the afternoon and even a little bit of the night talking, finally feeling that a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.

But back to the present moment, Sirius continued to look out over the pitch, taking a deep breath as he allowed himself to relax.

'I can't wait to see Harry flying' he thought, already managing to imagine the scene of his godson flying quickly across the pitch.

End.

(End AN:

Even with a week of a lot of pain from being sick, it was still a very good week for me as I luckily bought a new computer.

Some time ago I used my cell phone to write, translate and edit the chapters I posted, but now with a computer I think I'll be able to post more chapters, or at least it won't take so long.)
