Yeah! Here's the new chapter!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After Portkey activated, my family and I were taken into a large lighted hall, and at a glance I saw that "Apparition and Portkey Point" was written on one wall.
"Damn it!" my dad cursed as he fell to the ground after we reappeared.
"Urg... I think I'm going to throw up" my mom said on the floor, holding her stomach.
While my parents were suffering from the effects of traveling with a Portkey, I was taking a deep breath, as even with the trip not affecting me as much, as it was the first time I used a Portkey I still received some of the negative effects of the trip.
"That was fun!" Cele said, and with that I confirmed in my mind that my sister has an odd opinion about what's fun.
"See honey, I said they would love the trip" I then heard a male voice laugh.
"Yes, I can see how much fun they found the trip," a female voice commented dryly.
From the sensation these two people brought to me, and from the great, dense magic I could feel emanating from them, I easily discovered who they were.
"Well, hello Mr. and Mrs. Flamel," I said, turning to the two voices and surprising myself a little.
In front of me were two people who, unlike what the movie Fantastic Beasts had led me to believe, weren't old or fragile looking.
Mr. Nicolas Flamel had long and wavy brown hair, a goatee and a mustache the same color as his hair, and blue eyes that sparkled in the same way as Headmaster Dumbledore's eyes. He looked to be somewhere between 35 and 40 years old, as opposed to the 600 years he should have looked like.
He was wearing a black suit with an overcoat over it, and if I didn't know he was an alchemist wizard, I would think he was part of the French mafia.
Mrs. Perenelle Flamel had long and straight blond hair, an aristocratic appearance, and vibrant green eyes. Her aristocratic and noble appearance didn't hide her gentle personality, and the blue dress she wore only highlighted that.
"Oh so you are our benefactor I believe" Mr. Flamel was the first to say, "A little younger than I expected, but that just goes to show how amazing you are for what you've done" he said, referring to the challenges that the Headmaster Dumbledore set to protect the stone.
"Well, as you already know who we are, could you tell us who you are, our young benefactor?" Mrs. Flamel asked with a gentle smile, nodding to my parents behind me.
"I'm Ethan Night, second year of Ravenclaw" I said, bowing exaggeratedly to them, "It's a pleasure to meet two of the great renowned names of the wizarding world from this century... and also from a dozen centuries ago, hehe"
"Oh mon Dieu, je suis flatte" Mrs. Flamel said, and from what little French I've studied, I know she said she was flattered, "It's nice to see that young people these days still find us interesting, isn't it, dear?" Mrs. Flamel asked her husband.
"Say it for yourself honey, I always have been and will always be interesting" Mr. Flamel said with false arrogance.
He then turned to my parents and reached out to them.
"And you must be the parents of our young benefactor, right? I'm Nicolas Flamel and this is my wife Perenelle, but you can call us Nick and Penny," he said, shaking my father's hands and kissing the back of my mother's hand.
Mrs. Flamel then came forward and greeted my father, and my father just like Mr. Flamel kissed the back of her hand, showing that our classes of pureblood norms and etiquette were good for something. Mrs. Flamel then went and hugged my mother, as if they were old friends.
"Well, like you said, we're Ethan's parents" my dad started to say, "I'm Joshua Night and this is my wife Sarah Night, and this little one here is our little girl, Celestia Night" he said, pointing for each one.
"Hello little one, I'm Penny" Mrs. Flamel said as she kneeled in front of Cele.
"Hmm, I'm Cele, the Ethan's little sister" Cele said, her chest puffing out in pride, and I turned away as my parents glared at me, knowing I was the one who taught Cele to introduce herself like that.
'I'm not crying... I'm not' I said to myself, beaming with pride and satisfaction.
"Hehe, yes you are Ethan's little sister" Mrs. Flamel said, ruffling Cele's hair, making her smile with satisfaction.
"Well, since we've all introduced ourselves, before we go to our residence, we'll just need to stop by the French ministry of magic to organize your tourist and visitor papers" Mr. Flamel said, making my mom sigh in relief to see that we weren't breaking any laws.
"Damn, just because I was prepared to run away from the French Aurors if they found us," I grumbled, earning a confused look from Mrs. Flamel and a raised eyebrow from my mom.
"Hahaha, I know how you feel" Mr. Flamel said, walking to the exit of this great hall, with me and my family following behind him, "But we are not going to the ministry to allow you to stay in France. We are going there to get a permit so you can come back to visit France whenever you want."
"How?" my father asked.
"Well, you can always come to France by No-Maj means, but by wizarding means like Apparition and Portkey you would have to ask permission from the ministry" Mrs. Flamel began to explain, "We're going to the ministry to get to you a level 6 permit, which means you can always come to France by any means, without needing to alert the ministry."
"Amazing" my mother said.
"If you think this is amazing, you will be even more amazed to learn about the privileges of the Level 11 authorization" Mr. Flamel said, and he then continued, "The level 11 authorization allows the wizard who has it to go anywhere in the world, and it can only be obtained with permission from the International Confederation of Wizards."
"Wow" my dad said, "Must be really hard to get one of these"
"Yes, it's a little difficult" Mr. Flamel said, and as soon as he finished talking he pulled out of his pocket a translucent sign with black letters that read "Level 11".
"Stop showing off dear" Mrs. Flamel said, patting Mr. Flamel.
"Sorry honey" he said to her, turning to me and winking discreetly, "But changing the subject, here we are" Mr. Flamel said.
I didn't need to turn on my Magic Vision to realize that what he meant was that we'd arrived in front of a magical passage.
The entry to the French wizarding community is very different from the other entries I've seen or read.
While the other entrances try to keep a low profile, the entrance in front of me could be anything but discreet and inconspicuous.
The passage was in a busy square, but I noticed that people weren't looking our way, and it was easy to see that the passage was enchanted with concealment spells.
The passage itself was a large fountain of water that was being surrounded by vines and arches of water in front of us, and in addition to the water being a crystal blue and brilliant, the vines were decorated with points of light that made the scene magnificent and magic.
'I always knew France was an extravagant place' I thought, looking at the passage in wonder.
End.

(End AN: Hello my dear reader friends. Usually my NAs are talking about things from my day to day or some questions for you, and this time will be no different. The only difference is that ANs are usually fun things, only this time I don't think there's anything happy for me to say.
Simply put, last week my uncle found out he had cancer, and the tumor is already at a dangerous stage. I don't know what to think or what to say.
In my life apart from my parents and sisters, the only other people I care about are my uncle and aunt, and my aunt passed away in 2019... and now my uncle has cancer....
Sorry for the sad AN, I just wanted to vent a little.)
