This is a poem I wrote from Thanos's Mom {Riya's} perspective. Enjoy it I might upload a chap soon:
Deflowered
'How pitiful', 'How shameless'
'Must be her clothes'
'How could they make her such a mess!'
Perspectives are many,
But how could she be understood by someone else?
Her life has been shattered,
Since she returned with her clothes tattered,
'Oh! What a waste!' ' For shame!'
Is all she's been hearing time and again.
No one really speaks, just stays silent,
She feels like she's isolated on an island,
No one wants her to complain,
Just stay quiet.
Wonders she why teach girls to fight,
Not boys to respect girls just right?
What about guilt and agony towards them that she harbours?
Was it her fault that she got deflowered?
Real story:
When I showed this to my mom she was like how saaad is this poem.
[She said it in an irritatingly dramatic way] and I was like don't rapes happen in the world?
And she was like... Well... They don't happen in our part of country.
Our people are not like that. I was like "did she just say that?" I just asked her to leave the room and she was like why do always get this angry at me?
