Prelude
Patient. I've been waiting so long for this. Obsessed. It's all I've been able to think about all of these years. Infatuated. He's been the source of my existence, all I care about. Sadly. I have never spoken a word to him.
I'm sitting in my black ford F-250 watching him. The college dorm parking lot is full of activity. A storm is coming, a blizzard. So these students are in a rush to leave for the holiday vacation.
He is the ideal choice for this. Tall, well-built. Long black hair, wild almost like his people from so long ago. His skin is reddish brown, another sign of the heritage. A simple man, black jeans and shirt, his name is Xavier.
The clouds are growing darker. The storm is so close I can feel the bitter cold and shiver. Anticipation. This will be the day I've been waiting on.
Xavier is about to get in his car when he stops. He rushes back to the larger dorm building. Opportunity. I sigh letting out a puff of gray smoke. The windows freeze and outside the snow begins to fall. I'm tired of waiting. Anxious.
