Jack gulped a bit of his own saliva.
"It's like the UI in games..." Jack commented.
Shin nodded.
"You think so too??" He laughed.
"Yes" Jack said.
In an instant, Jack felt a unique sensation well up on his body. It was a very fantastic sensation. It was like something was giving him power. Unlike before when he was transforming, he didn't feel any pain. All he felt was pleasure and power coursing through his veins.
[Ding Ding! The transfer has been successful]
Shin nodded.
Shin taught Jack how to use the Transform skill and then explained to him all of the other things that he needed to know. Like how he wasn't supposed to tell anyone this secret and how dangerous it was if somebody found out.
Jack nodded and swore an oath that he would never tell anyone about this. But even if he didn't swear an oath, he isn't able to disobey Shin since Shin is his progenitor. His body, mind and even his soul was bound to Shin.
Jack used the Transform skill and instantly transformed into what he looked like before he became an evolved. Only this time, he was much taller and his eyes were transformed to look like he was an A rank SMB.
Jack was now the first Evolved that Shin converted. He was very powerful. Shin was still pondering on whether or not he should let Jack be able to see his stats so Jack didn't have any clue about how powerful he was. Only Shin knew that Jack was stronger than your average A rank SMB. Heck, he was even more powerful than Shin!
"Let's go to my house. You'll be staying with me for a while" Shin said.
Jack nodded.
The duo went to Shin's house. Shaun was at school so the house was practically empty before they came along.
Shin finally came to a decision.
'System, give Jack the inventory tab' Shin thought.
[Ding Ding! Giving the Evolved an inventory tab] the system responded.
Just like before, a notification popped up on Jack's point of view.
"Accept it. Do you remember when I told you I left my crystal stones outside? Well, I didn't. I was actually carrying it with me inside my inventory" Shin said.
Jack was awed.
"You must know what inventories are right? Since you also play games" said Shin.
Jack nodded and said,
"Yes my King."
"Then I shan't teach you anymore. Oh, and call me Shin when other people are around. Otherwise, people might think you're crazy calling an 18 year old kid your King" said Shin with a slight laugh.
Jack laughed.
"Yes my King"
"Here are 30 million crystal stones" Shin said as he waved his hand.
The crystal stones were instantly transferred to Jack's Inventory.
"It's in your inventory"
"Use the two million however you wish. While the remaining for finding a house in Manila city and the utmost best hospital for treating my mother" Shin ordered.
"Of course, you do know that forking out 300 billion pesos is akin to inviting trouble. So be careful" Shin reminded.
"You can rely on me in this area." Jack replied with a smile. His heart was filled with excitement. Two million kilograms of crystal stones was equivalent to twenty billion pesos! With that amount of money, he would be able to buy everything that he ever wanted! He would be able to support his family and give his parents a great life! His siblings wouldn't even need to go to school anymore if they wanted. He was rich! Filthy stinking rich!
Jack looked at Shin with endless gratitude and then said, "thank you"
"You're welcome. You're one of my own now. So it's only right for you to be able to have a bit of pocket money" Shin said with a smile.
Jack's eyebrows twitched when he heard him say 'Pocket Money'.
Heck! Twenty billion pesos was considered as just pocket money for my King? Then how rich is he???
This was what Jack was thinking.
But he didn't dare retort.
"Alright. Go register at one of the guilds for an SMB license. Tell them that you're someone who came into contact with a Divine Stone when you were in Sorsogon. You became an A rank SMB and went here to register. As for why you came here instead of in the city. Figure that our yourself" Shin instructed.
"Alright"
"Oh and I want my mother to be transferred in two days" Shin said.
"That will be easy" Jack replied.
Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
Shin's mom was directly transferred to the number one most prestigious hospital in Japan.
Shin discussed it with Shaun and the little Salazar instantly agreed. If his brother could afford the expenses, then why would he disagree?
"I want to come with mom" Shaun said.
"No. You have to study. The doctor said that the treatment will take 1-3 months so we can go there on the second month" Shin said.
"But..." Shaun said as he looked at his brother with puppy eyes.
"You know mom won't be happy if you skipped school right? Your brother isn't a high school graduate. So the hope of having a decent job and graduating college lies with you my little brother. Don't be like me" Shin said.
Shaun could only nod his head.
Later that night, Shin contacted Leo.
"I'm willing to enter your guild"
