Chapter 27 - Poem 24-Dance Alone

A gallant ball awaits

Crystal towers shoot through the clouds

You can hear the music, you can hear the sounds

That come through the glass gates

Waltz, sambas, salsas. It was a mess

Dance after dance after dance

Some danced others confessed

The mood has put us in a trance

We all came with our dance partners

We all have practiced our routines

I danced in my laughter

A dance with me

Who needs another when I have myself

No second dancer and none is next

I love myself, we dance the best

Wide strides alone,  a dance for ourself

One, two, three steps

A nice turn to the right

It might be look easy but it's complex

My practice  is been reflected

I dance alone, I dance solo

Nobody on the dance floor with me

But I don't need anybody, everybody is a no-no

Me, myself and I. That is how we will be

I can dance alone

I dance alone

All on my own

Such a perfect night for them

Such a perfect night for me

Keep the music on

And in the rhyme I shall be in.
