He was even less concerned about the wedding banquet, leaving it entirely to the Piers family butler to handle.
Several times Ruby Green wanted Brandon Piers to help her pick out the wedding dress for that day. Brandon always had Pullan brush her off.
Abigail was busy, though.
Unlike Brandon's indifference, Clark Stone occasionally contacted Abigail to discuss engagement matters. He specifically emphasized his intention to come to the Piers' Mansion. After Abigail refused him several times, he was undeterred and brought the wedding dress over today.
His attitude seemed as if the previous disagreements had never happened.
