Abigail rushed back to Piers' Mansion. Teddy had just woken up.
After changing clothes and sanitizing her hands several times, Abigail finally took Teddy into her arms.
"Feed him quickly," Kelly urged. The little one didn't eat much from her.
Abigail nodded, turned around, and let Kelly watch the door while she nursed the baby.
The little one ate his fill and played until after ten before falling back asleep. Abigail watched the baby's peaceful sleeping face and exhaled deeply, her tense heart softened slightly.
