Abigail Green left the bar, her ears finally at peace.
When she was a doctor, she would occasionally go to bars for leisure during her vacations. The high-intensity work required a crazy outlet. But her original self was very introverted; she rarely even went to large malls, let alone bars.
Her ears really couldn't handle the clamor of the bar.
Walking out of the street along the cobbled road, Abigail checked the time. It had been an hour and a half, and Teddy must have been acting up by now. She grew anxious and reached out to hail a cab.
But at that moment, someone bumped into her back. Annoyed, she turned around, and a rough hand covered her mouth and nose.
In her current body, Abigail was quite inconvenienced. She wanted to fight back, but the smell of ether already made her lose consciousness.
As her mind blurred, Abigail couldn't help but curse. It was bad enough that she had been reborn in a fat body; why did this body have to endure so much misfortune?
