Abigail realized what was happening and suddenly felt a bit embarrassed. She also thought her emotions just now seemed rather ridiculous.
With a sidelong glance at their surroundings, even though there weren't many people around, being held like this by a man made Abigail somewhat uncomfortable. She lightly poked Brandon Piers' chest. "Um... can you let go of me?"
"Wait a minute. Answer a question for me first," Brandon didn't let go and looked straight into Abigail's eyes.
Abigail felt roasted by his gaze. "What question?"
"Do you really think I'm garbage?" Brandon asked, looking serious, his amber eyes carrying a hint of hurt.
Abigail was stunned by the question. "I... I didn't mean it that way. Didn't you say my head is full of garbage?"
She was completely caught off guard by Brandon reversing the situation.
"Oh, then let me ask another question." Brandon watched Abigail's flustered explanation, a playful glint flashing in his eyes.
