Kelvin Max was surprised by Brandon's keen perception. "I'll investigate right away."
"Hmm." Brandon Piers gave a slight nod, then looked at Kelvin.
Kelvin's body stiffened. He thought to himself, oh no, here it comes. He envisioned the two bald heads downstairs and stole a glance at himself. He should be fine, right? He also cursed Alex's ancestors a bit.
"What brings you here?" Brandon asked after assessing Kelvin, his tone unclear.
Kelvin quietly sighed in relief. "The board is aware of young Master Piers's situation. Everyone is very concerned about Mr. Piers's safety, but they are more worried about turmoil in the group. They hope you can take charge and also use this opportunity to clean up the group internally."
"Ha, they don't consider me a sickly person anymore?" Brandon sneered.
"How could they? Everyone knows you've recovered well," Kelvin said, feeling increasingly nervous with each question.
