Abigail walked from the dormitory to the teaching building, feeling a pair of intermittent eyes on her the entire way. As soon as she entered the elevator, the feeling intensified.
After being looked at by the same person three times, she finally couldn't help but ask, "Is there something on my face?"
"Haha, are you Abigail? Can I touch you?" The clean-shaven boy with a neat buzz cut looked particularly well-behaved, exuding a bookish temperament.
Abigail remained silent.
Despite the boy looking so innocent, his bold behavior left her at a loss for words.
The boy looked a bit embarrassed. "Don't get the wrong idea. I don't mean to take advantage of you. I sat near you yesterday and felt you were very lucky. Ralf said you had the face of great fortune, like a lucky star, so..."
The boy blushed as he spoke.
Abigail gave the bookish boy a strange look. "So you want to touch me to get some luck?"
