Brandon Piers, slightly surprised, looked at Abigail after listening and ignored the wound on his back. "Can you be sure?"
"Of course. You didn't know you had heart surgery before?" Since it was man-made, someone must have operated on Brandon Piers's body. It had to be either because Brandon was very young at the time or someone he trusted did it.
"According to my grandfather, I was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at birth, and later had heart surgery. But at fifteen, the problem recurred, and I was predicted not to live past thirty. So, I should have had heart surgery." Brandon Piers frowned.
Abigail shook her head. "Your surgery wasn't done right after birth. You didn't have congenital heart disease. It was man-made."
"You mean?" Brandon trusted Abigail's judgment. He could question her on other matters, but in cardiac surgery, his chubby girl was an authority.
