"Yes, that's what Dean Foster said." Pullan thought carefully before answering.
"Oh, tell me again about that day. Did Abigail go there?" Brandon Piers felt something was wrong. How did Abigail meet Jeffrey Foster that day? Did she go to see him specifically?
Could it be that the old feelings hadn't faded?
"Well, it's just an apartment, but after you called, I went upstairs. I waited a long time before I saw the young lady. She said she went to the wrong floor." Pullan scratched behind his ear, feeling like a double agent.
"Went to the wrong floor?" Brandon Piers murmured. He was sure that going to the wrong floor was impossible, but going back to her old apartment was very likely.
