Jeffrey Foster thought about how he had been busy with hospital affairs, research, and clinical surgeries over the past few years, hardly having a moment to rest. Abigail had performed one surgery after another, for both patients and data collection for their underground research lab.
He almost forgot that she was just a girl in her twenties, with friends and a life of her own.
Jeffrey felt a pang of guilt as he gazed at Abigail more gently but with many questions. "You can enter her study?"
Abigail was also taken aback. Yeah, how did she enter her own study? It had a fingerprint lock. She hadn't used a password but had opened it directly.
Fortunately, her expression remained normal, not giving away any clue. Instead, she took the opportunity to say, "Even the password you don't know, but I do. Dean Foster, don't you want to think about why?"
