"Ha ha ha, interesting idea!"
Brandon Piers irritably shouted, "Get out," while Grandfather Piers couldn't hold back his laughter and gave Pullan a thumbs-up.
He had never seen his grandson so out of sorts; it made him feel a bit cheerful.
Brandon disdainfully glanced at his grandfather, then noticed that all the household servants were struggling to suppress their laughter. They weren't as bold as Grandfather Piers, but they all had amused expressions. Seeing the embarrassing books on the ground, he felt even worse.
Turning back to look at Abigail, who was holding the pudgy Teddy and still smiling at him, Brandon suddenly felt a bit embarrassed and awkwardly turned to leave. "I'm going back to the study."
"Take your books with you," Grandfather Piers called out after Brandon.
Brandon paused for a moment, then quickened his pace as he headed upstairs.
Abigail watched his somewhat embarrassed retreat and couldn't help but laugh along with Grandfather Piers.
