After leaving the hospital, Brandon Piers felt particularly good, holding Abigail's hand without caring about the gazes of others.
On the other hand, Abigail felt a bit embarrassed. She had lost quite a bit of weight—although she was still chubby, walking down the street initially wouldn't draw too much attention. But now, things were different.
The man beside her was like a glowing entity. Even walking on his own, he could attract a hundred percent of the turning heads. Now, holding her hand, it was practically like flaunting.
Especially compared to this man, she looked even more bloated and short. The looks others gave her seemed to suggest, "Does this chubby girl's family own a mine?"
Abigail felt deeply offended!
"Not happy?" Brandon Piers asked softly, feeling Abigail's displeasure with his keen senses.
Abigail thought for a moment, "Don't you feel uncomfortable at all?"
"Why should I feel uncomfortable?" Brandon Piers looked bewildered.
