Outside the courthouse.
Lincoln Green saw Abigail, who was followed by Brandon Piers' personal bodyguard. Hesitating, he approached her. "Abigail..."
Abigail turned to look at Lincoln. Under his suit, he was still wearing a hospital gown. He looked pale and despondent, with none of the success of the businessman she remembered when she was reborn. Her emotions were complex, but her voice remained consistently cold. "What is it?"
"Abigail, will you forgive your father?" Lincoln asked cautiously.
Hearing this, Abigail felt a sense of bleakness. She looked at the man who had aged considerably before her. "I'm sorry, I can't speak for her."
With that, Abigail turned and got into the car.
Lincoln's body stiffened slightly. His hand instinctively reached out to grab Abigail but fell short. He looked down at his empty palm and then up again. The car Abigail was in had already started and quickly disappeared from view.
